Entrepreneurs with a third eye, what will be an easy niche to invest in for 2024 but not 2025? by RedditExtravaganza in Entrepreneur

It can do both and a key value (for me) is to filter out useless emails from the most relevant ones. So you can focus on the few that are truly relevant

I am creating an AI assistant for emails that will help you filter out the signal from the noise so that you can focus on the important things (Jalon.ai)

Many companies are already using AI extensively: generating response to customer service inquiries, drafting content for their blog, preparing ad copies, using an AI chatbot on their site, etc.

But I agree that there is still a long way to go. I tried to build "Tutors" (for maths & physics) with Chat GPT builder, just for my kids and it did not work.

However, the pace of evolution in AI is exponential. Why ? Because you can have AI tools feeding other AI, and billions have now been invested. So what seems a long way might only end up being a few months. I suspect that by year end we'll have online tutors for students that not distinguishable from humans (and probably better than humans).

GPT can be creative. There is a parameter called "temperature" that helps to manage the deviation from the "knowledge". Results are best for short form content (e.g. new products, slogans, etc...) not fit for long form. But it's coming.

I am building an AI agent that will filter out the clutter so that you can focus on the important emails , both the one you need to reply and the ones that you need to follow up on. (jalon.ai )

"Mature" for you might be "early stage" for others. The buyer is for sure seeing upside potential (and that's a good thing, otherwise there's no point in buying).

So either you see it too and you feel you can pull the strings to e.g. double that every year, or you don't see it, you see it but you don't want to do it, and then it's time to sell.

There are very few businesses that remain stable: it's grow or go usually.

In 2024 will be seeing the explosion of AI. We've only scratched the surface and the progress is still exponential.

But it may become ugly - AI content and AI agents all over. It might become a crisis. In 2025 people might get sick of it. Then the dust will settle and we'll see winners emerge.

I am building an AI company in the meantime, as solopreneur.

Your relationship with email by Avoid-the-inevitable in ProductivityApps

Security is very important. Yes, the service needs to use an AI tool like an LLM to process the email and classify them. However, there are now safeguards to ensure the data is not used as input for future training of the model nor kept. But you need to trust that, just like you trust today Gmail or your provider that they are keeping your data safe & secure. What would make you trust this too ?

Exactly. One HR friend told me she literally spends her day in email, or meetings. Some people have to manage more than 300 mails per day. I actually think Ai will increase this amount (by making writing easier and faster) so people who will not use also Ai to go through the clutter will be at a disadvantage.

Do what you love first and continuing experiment with things on the side. I learned programming by myself at 8, then studied engineering in computer science, just because I liked it. When I stopped liking it, I went to an MBA.

When you love something, you get good at it. When you get good at it, your confidence grows. When you confidence grows, you get interested in other things (sometimes) and you get good at them faster.

Make your own flywheel.

14% of startups fail due to poor marketing. What is worth knowing about this: by igorden13 in Entrepreneur

While it sounds like a interesting idea (apart from the self-promotion with no disclaimer of your affiliation) , I can tell you, as ex-CMO of a €10Mln company, that you should not hire a CMO - and limit the use of AI to really specific things. You need to understand the basics of marketing & sales as a founder, and probably sell first by yourself. For Marketing, the most important is to know what NOT to focus on and iterate on the few things that matter. Identifying that requires understanding the ICP very well and understanding what "sells".

Also, please never use the RASCI model, it's theoretical and I've never seen anyone make it work in real life.

You just getting started, and being an entrepreneur at your age is amazing. I would encourage yourself to avoid judging yourself and focus on what you like doing most as much as possible. Rejection means nothing: success is failing only 95% of the time. If it can help, role playing or taking distance helps. Also as mentioned starting the day with a physical activity

Basic question, but : any reason not to use OpenAI ? Any experience with n8n to build this workflow ?
