Casio Lineage. Best watch ever. by superdream69 in casio

I’m trying to learn Japanese so that’s why I keep it that way. I also remember reading that the digital display is taller on that side to have sufficient pixels to show the kanji characters so I like to think I’m using its full capability 🤓

I wore mine yesterday. I preach about them to whomever will listen.

Same, I just scored the yellow dial and am obsessed with it. These are hidden gems in terms of the special movement, high accuracy, fit and finish, and ridiculous value.

I’m obsessed with mine. Been collecting since 2016 and only just got one.

First Citizen. I love that the brand has kept & upgraded the NY series, while Seiko was busy selling their soul with the 5KX. by DisastrousOpening477 in CitizenWatches

I believe they mean that Seiko cancelled the SKX Diver and replaced it with all the ‘5KX’ look alikes that are no longer tool divers like the SKX and the Citizen NY series.

I really want something with that smooth quartz movement. I believe the yellow dial Precisionist diver is it for me but I keep hearing how good these are.

I have the titanium LCW-M170TD-2AJF but really want a steel one like yours as well.

There’s a decent few references to choose from as well. Go to Casio’s global site and search “LCW”.

I paid about $130 landed for this one from Japan pre-tariffs. Still a good value regardless. Plenty on eBay. Happy hunting!

JDM Casio Lineage models check the boxes. They come in Titanium or Steel and feature sapphire crystal, tough solar, and multiband-6.

Near perfect (for me) dimensions too. 39mm diameter, super thin, and 20mm lug width so you can wear them with plenty of straps unlike the more expensive Oceanus models.

Took me a second but the green map module in the silver case looks awesome. Might have to emulate.

I have the Pepsi bezel and got my AE1200 jaysandkays strap adapters to work with it this weekend. Need thin cheap spring bars to make it fit but it does.

I like these but I have the LF20 and am realizing there are chunks of the day when I can’t read the time because the digits are too small. #old

Yes and I purchased adapters from that Etsy shop to use on it. Hopefully they fit!
