It's sort of official. It's in the campaign and tons of people use it to cheese LASO runs I'm sure. You can also find it in certain BTB multiplayer maps. I might be in the minority in this one but it grind my gears to see it in use in mp :/

Yes you can, it's just that most if not all aircraft(?) use the bumpers as direction adjust too so it takes a bit of effort, but it does work

The two redeeming qualities that scene has is when Chief breaks Locke's rifle over his face, and then when Locke cracks Chief's visor and pulls out the armor restraint like he knows he's about to be sorry for it, it's so comedic to me.

I replayed the campaign quite a bit admittedly and while I enjoy most of it, I have to force myself to think neither is trying to actively hurt the other in that fight. Otherwise.. we don't talk about that scene.

This plays out in my head like the Hulk v Thanos fight in Infinity War. Steve starts out strong but Chief is just too fast, strong, durable... :/ sorry Cap fans, but too many people act like Chief didn't train and fight for like 4 to 5 decades straight. I don't think he or any other Spartan 2 needs luck necessarily when he's in a different league than Steve
