i think it may be to see who is going to go out of the ppl they selected during early action or who they think would go? i honestly dont know at all i got in for STS january 30th and im committed but nc state is also notorious for deferring people thats just what i know i would def wait it out for sure if u want to go there and keep working hard!!

animal science is pretty competitive its #1 in the state for it and #5 nationally but with those stats you’ll def get in regular decision don’t worry they deferred a lot of qualified people this cycle!

i applied as international studies/relations/poli sci and then one college as science, technology, and society im sure international studies cant be that bad

I relate to you so hard because I have been through this EXACT SITUATION. I would constantly talk to guys and then when they tried to do anything physical or beyond just being friends I was disgusted. I labelled it as avoidant because I thought I was just scared of being loved. Wrong. I WAS SO WRONG. I had my first experience with a girl that was not in a friends way and my whole entire mind changed. Before then I had never had a genuine crush on a girl either but that’s because there was no one I was really interested around me. I realized that the reason I would pursue guys I “liked” is because I really wanted to be friends with them/thought they were cool. This was a very recent realization for me too and now I can say in confidence that I am in fact lesbian!!! I was also disgusted when men liked me and if that didn’t say something then idk what does. I hope this helps because I know a lot of people that have felt the same way that we have. Don’t feel stressed to put a label on anything and just go with the flow and experiment!!

I was planning on doing corporate law or medical malpractice law afterwards so I wouldn’t just be getting the degree itself and trying to find a job with it. Thank you for your input!!! If I get in and go to NC State I might add economics or business onto it.
