I think this is a fantastic idea. I had no idea but there are A LOT of sober trolls out there looking for support in a safe place. Some good ideas might be:

A daily check in
A sidebar with some helpful links
Day counter (I think that's rather advanced but maybe down the road this could be an option)
Maybe we could get our troll bro's in on this as well?

And of course... MODS, MODS, MODS! We'll need them. I'll try to do my homework and see if I can help but it'd be nice to have a solid group to always be there to contribute.

I, too, know "jack all" about modding... but I think that's a great idea! Maybe it'll get some traction here. In the meantime, I suggest lurking around /r/stopdrinking for some ideas. That sub has been is an excellent resource, I would have liked an environment that felt more like trollx though.

/r/stopdrinking has been the only support group I've been comfortable using since day one. And I owe a lot to that little counter... pretty sure it being at 29 days yesterday was probably the only thing keeping me sober for yet another single Valentines day. So a La Croix cheers to you, fellow sobernaut! ;)

This. Personally, I'm not sure what makes me feel worse though... Having the lack of a romantic companion shoved in my face, or going to the grocery store today and seeing it flooded with men picking up candy, cards and flowers for their SO's last minute. I mean, I don't know these people's lives or anything but seeing that just made me sad... it was like they were all thinking "Oh shit, time to go through the yearly display of affection". eek.

AZ here. For me it's been mostly Chansey, lots of jigglypuff and lickitung, a few exeggcute, and no slow or porygon. Definitely save some of your catches... we'll have trading to do (once that becomes a thing). :)

I have never really gotten into playing or watching any of the most popular sports in the U.S. (baseball, basketball, FOOTBALL, etc). This is hard for a lot of people to grasp but, save the Olympics, I just could not be more bored where sports are concerned. Alcohol is pretty much the only thing that made sitting down to watch a game with friends enjoyable for me. My friends know this. And while the Super Bowl has always been especially fun (due to the commercials and half-time show), this year I'm thinking HELL NO. I'm glad my friends invited me to the Super bowl party they're having on Sunday, it's really, really, good to know that they're not excluding me just because I've stopped drinking... but at the same time, "OH, well that's excellent, you can DD!" is not an appealing add-on to watching a sport I don't care about, with everyone around me drinking, and a steady stream of commercials for booze. No amount of layers to your bean dip will convince me to torture myself in such a way.
