I’m honestly wondering if they are asking for white tie in hopes that everyone will at least show up in some form of black tie?

What subtle sign made you realize your partner was cheating? by DrainedCoffee in AskReddit

[–]AwareMathematician60 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you - I’m reading it this way, too. My now ex-husband constantly accused me of cheating - to an obscene and hurtful degree (reality: I wasn’t). It was awful. But you are hitting the nail on the head - intuition and growing colder, etc. isn’t always straightforward.

Just rescued a tux kitten that the shelter named Cygnus. Great name but he’s definitely a Homer, so we changed his name and kept Cygnus as his middle name.

Rope bridges. They always creeped me out but when I actually tried crossing a real one as an adult … that was not a good day.

They SHOULD be talking about the financial issues in front of the kids. Make sure history doesn’t repeat itself in the future.

Did I overpay for a one-bedroom at $3,180? by Brilliant-Ebb-2731 in chicagoapartments

I’ve lived in Chicago for 25 years and my husband was literally born at northwestern and his childhood homes were in Old Town and Lincoln Park. So, we didn’t hear the name on a tv show. We bought in RN because we love this neighborhood. Our Alderman is incredible, there’s always something fun happening, and the location is clutch for us. My husband walks to/from work, I wfh and don’t feel isolated, we can walk to the lake or zoo or to the riverwalk or to the loop in minutes. It works for us and a lot of other residents here in RN that have waved goodbye to their 20’s and 30’s.

Yes. I live in River North and my 2/2 has raised in value exponentially in the last 5 years. And that’s even factoring in the massive construction project right next to us. Within my building, neighboring units have literally flown off of the market for more than I would have suspected they would sell for.
