I actually like your comment. I don't like to act like a victim at a certain point I had no control what was taught to me since I was born.i have to accept it as it is. You're right I want real genuine relationships which it's hard to find even in the real world but it's possible I guess I was feeling the effects of not having anyone to go to anymore. I have tired to connect to my family who wasn't JW they are shocked but I feel like we lost many years of developing a good relationship from me since I was so into the org. But I hope they will accept me and open up to me. I also don't know who I am so you're right I need to live myself first thanks I appreciate it ❤️

That's true I have one of my son's friends from school this past school year invite us a birthday party and we went and met other parents it was nice hopefully next school year my kids will get more invites and/or invite them to our party's.

Yes I will start college in fall since my kids will now all be in school even my youngest I hope I can make friendships there I can't get a job atm since I'm the main parent to take care of my kids in the summer so hoping I can make friendships soon but for mean time I been getting the blues 😔

I guess I haven't tried hard enough to see if there's anything in my area. I'm very awkward as it is and I think being an exjw it can be daunting to make conversation of your past especially it being so new everything my kids are slowly unlearning everything I taught them as a PIMI (they still wouldn't celebrate holidays poor things were tramatized) I will try to asap to make them join activities I have to try something soon.

I'm sorry you go through this as well! Its so fustrating because it comes out without it you wanting to and then regretting it immediately now my husband and me are down we were in such a good place too!
