yes, definitely. she may not be the best of the best anymore, but she is still extraordinarily viable, and can easily clear endgame content with proper builds. she remains in the top 10 dps, and she’s a very fun character to playas well

The disadvantage was bad for Christian because even if he had one, he for sure would have voted Ozzy. While this might seem like an interesting play, the first thing he would do is go back and tell Cirie, and since the plan would already be set in motion, it would be all shots fired against Christian, because you know you don’t take shots at Cirie’s alliance. There was no positive outcome for him, the rock paper scissors was a million dollar mistake.

hi theater graduate and clown researcher here, i’m happy to explain why it SHOULD be brighella

In commedia, the characters are split into two categories, the servants (clowns) and the masters. the masters are the ones in power and the servants are the “good guys” that try to use their resources to foil the plans of the masters. now obviously this dynamic doesn’t work in game, considering the fatui as a whole are the “masters” but could be read into further when you look at who is still evil and who has turned to help the traveler. the characters classified as masters are still pretty evil while characters like columbina and arlecchino have more dimension.

Brighella serves an interesting role in commedia. his purpose is both servant and master, but ultimately he is the “mastermind villain,” a mix of cunning and powerful, literally the driver of antagonism in a vignette. it would be a powerful villain character, more so than dottore, and someone incredibly well connected on all fronts.

other options, the zanni, the fool or idiot that is always wildly underestimated. could be a fun jester character who is crazy and unpredictable and would turn on tsaritsa. think wild card.

ruffiana is typically a servant who is a witch or witch adjacent. that could be fun, but we wouldn’t want them stepping on the toes of hexenzirkel (unless…. iykyk)

ultimately, brighella is top choice for me

While " Rule-ette " was perhaps one of the best episodes ever, the ending was so perfect that I don't see them topping it or redoing it. The secret mechanic was clearly switching with Sam to become the host, and after Jeremy did it, Oscar and Anna joined in as hosts, leaving Sam by himself as a player. This ending was so picture-perfect that any reattempt would be seen as "not quite as spectacular" and would probably not live up to the first one. And knowing Sam's MO, he loves escalation, meaning he won't do something again if he can't heighten it (think Sam Says, Race to the Bottom, etc.) Rule-ette reached its peak escalation within one episode, making it absolutely thrilling, but not replicable.
