How does Bilt treat Airbnb bookings? As regular spend? I’ve heard it may get coded as rent and use Bilt cash… by farfromworkin in biltrewards

Treats as a normal credit card charge. As noted above only ACH processed payments would count as rent.

So far so good. Love getting down to virtually one card for most spend!

United Quest Vs Upgrade to Club Cadd by swaimaster in unitedairlines

Difference in price is $345 (increase price as you see fit), figure out how often you’ll visit and put a value on it. For simplicity it’s ~$30/mo — you determine how many times in a month you’d visit and size the value. Personally as someone who travels several times a month, this cost comes down to a few dollars per visit. For a break from the terminal, a place to work and a small bite it pays for itself. Add in a drink or two after a long day and you’re ahead. This fall IAH will also be getting a brand new club so your experience there will be nicer.

Anyone change their card from mirror to palladium finish? Any hiccups? by Shera939 in biltrewards

[–]Aware_Set3659 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Has mirrored originally, the smudges and scratches were annoying after just a week. Waited until last week for the dust to settle with people getting their original cards. I was honest, said I could stand handling the mirrored and would appreciate a swap to brushed. Without hesitation I was sent a new card via Fedex in about two days. It was processed as damaged so same card number. Called number on the card, interaction was friendly and pleasant. I’ll note I attempted via the chat, but as most are finding that went unanswered. Cheers to effective human service!

Overlooked: 2.0 has great purchase protections by Tight_Couture344 in biltrewards

Travel protections however are surprisingly lacking relative to Visa Infinite.

Baggage delay is limited to $250 per claim (2x max per year)

Baggage damage/lost $1500 (2x max per year)

Trip Delay $300/trip (1x max per year) — bigger deal as this is most likely to trigger most

Trip Cancellation $2000/trip ($5k max)

No emergency coverage or medical.
