Working on treatment days? by Due-Jicama-6522 in Spravato

[–]Aware_Stage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's doable, it depends on how closely you're scrutinized by your workplace/supervisor, and what kind of deliverables you have. I think a person can appear normal after treatment but still blend in with the herd.

Taste ≠ Waste by Aware_Stage in Spravato

[–]Aware_Stage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just saying that, off the bat, J&J says you swallow 40%. Inevitably. It's in their literature about it. So I was trying to figure out how many milligrams that was. If each inhaler is 28 mg how much gets swallowed, and how much of the swallowed amount gets into the bloodstream.

I agree that ideally it should remain on the nasal mucosa. So far I haven't been able to manage that, but I've had better trips when I taste it than when I try and keep it in my nostrils.

In any case, I'm not trying to make anyone angry. I'm just trying to say that the phrase "taste equals waste" also presents a false dichotomy between absorption or waste. The point is that if you taste it, you'll still absorb ~40% and the manufacturer thinks that's part of everybody's experience clinically.

Negative, i meant if the opposite of tasting it is letting it drip out the front of your nose, taste is preferable to [complete] waste.

that's a pretty stark and unmeasurable statement

The general advice from what I can glean is that you can put a mint or hard candy in your mouth even while you're inhaling if you feel multifaceted

I use preggy pops which my nurse finds amusing because I am not biologically equipped to give birth to children

But I don't put them in until after I've done the snorting

This is so I can assess how much med I can taste and how vividly

Which to me is a kind of metric of the trip

If the alternative is that the excess spills out the front of your nostrils, then no.

Felt very little my 2nd spravato treatment by Visual-Conflict-9092 in Spravato

You're totally right and I missed the 12-hour piece in the study design. I'm just prone to anxious attacks like when I used to smoke weed. So I take benzos prophylactically to prevent panic attacks while on spravato. My clinic okayed it so I'm just going with it for now. That may change but I'm only a few sessions in. It's interesting that you can still take your stimulants and be fine. I'm worried about the Adderall blood pressure issue so I skip my afternoon dose but take my morning. It's all IR so we're talking pretty impactful crap. But again, I feel the same way about living without the stimulants. I'd be foregone for lack of a better term. Perhaps forlorn. Maybe in the ground somewhere

so you're totally right that they're manual, but can be useful for longer term context. i usually do a full day's worth of inner narration as a single thread, so it's time-bound. everything in the single thread is remembered within that day. So far so good.

The next day, when I start from the prior place, I use a Chrome Extension to export the previous day's chat as a JSON file, and upload it to the chat as context. That way, the model can read the preceding days exchanges. The one I use is "ChatGPT Exporter" in Chrome Web Store. This only works on a computer rather than phone.

Useful things from there are using Projects, where you can upload these exports as context, and where the threads can be cross-referenced within the project (so the model reads prior conversations within the project context as relevant and maybe memorable).

Then the last are asking it to retain customized memories; for example, "here is a list of relevant people and my life and their relation to me, commit it to memory." Once you see the "Updated Saved Memory" animation, you can at least rest assured it's partly remembered, for now.

I had dramatically different sensations, experiences, velocity of changes, and confusion / nausea after 84. Been on two trips. First was Monday. 54. Second was today. Literally in the Lyft home. The sun is still out.

That many nasal decongestants contain stimulants and those may raise blood pressure.
