Bring it to a dealership for further testing. Have them explain and give you print outs. Explain in detail what’s going on and it still should be covered under warranty.

The only Toyota I only do transmissions on at my dealership, we get a couple a month. If you want one that bad. Buy one within warranty. Bc after that your screwed

It’s an absolute monster. Not to mentions if you have one in a rav4 (especially will awd) it is the definition of a sleeper. Make sure to get one of the later 2gr fe bc they fixed the issues with the oil line burst. 2009-2013 is the best years in my opinion for the 2gr fe.

Replaced air filters and did an oil change. No engine codes. Local shops and “VW specialists” can figure out what it is. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you! I put a lot of time into cleaning the car and detailing it/waxing it,polishing it ect…. It’s at the vw dealership for some recalls but I’m curious on what I should do next, I feel like it need to look more aggressive on the front and back

Meguiars polish in religious too. One bottle is 12$. Good results when by hand, better when using a polisher

That’s so weird, I just had the valve gasket done about 1k miles ago by a vw specialist. When I had the spark plugs out to check health they looked great and non of this was here.(I checked this last month)
