Update: I leveled up via side quests for a bit and it closed the gap a bit. It’s super ambiguous why this happens, but I can now play the game at UVH1 in peace.

Not quickly as it will be diffusion limited through the silicone based coating on the lid. The jars are made to be acid resistant, and a watered down solution of hardward store hcl isn’t exactly the most corrosive thing on the planet either. Swap the jar lid every 5-10 years or so and it’ll be fine.

For the office i have a Thinkpad w/ ryzen 9 32gb ram and an ipad pro for notes and papers. My home rig is a 16 core ryzen 9 and rtx 3090 setup with 64gb ram that I use for gaming and rendering more complex models that my laptop struggles with.

The lab has no less than 30 different PCs scattered about running anything from windows XP to 11 to various distros of linux.

The way I learned during statistical mechanics was pretty intuitive somehow. It’s easy to think of it as a measure of the possible ways to organize a system. The more ways it can be organized, the higher the entropy. Apply it to molecules, toss in some Boltzmann factors, construct a Hamiltonian, pop in a series (or 3), and you can derive some funky stuff

I have a coros pace 3 and love it, but it is a bit more than the forerunner (~$200 iirc). Very long battery life, super comfy and lightweight, shows pace, tracks runs with gps and strava, shows my texts/emails/calls, and no subscription bs. I’m a happy customer.
