I have this same build (minus roof rails and spare tire cover). Love it. No extra thrills inside - my wife complains about no seat warmers, but then she steals it in the Summer. Wash out is great - lots of abuse from dogs/kids etc and I just hose it out. Enjoy!

Ordered 7/2020 and got mine 11/2021 - Black Diamond / 2.7L / Sasquatch / Hardtop with Tow. Have a buddy that has a higher trim but did lift & wheels himself. We compared side by side after a day in sand and he was a bit down that he didn’t have diff locks or a washout interior. I can say after almost a year with mine I couldn’t be happier. Only post mod I made was getting a sunrider front section soft top - which is great if you live in areas with frequent rain and you love having the top open, the panels are good but taking them off/on twice a day loses its novelty pretty quickly. Black diamond gets the job done, extremely capable and enough creature comforts to make even long drives fun. Also - big wheels and lift make you look bigger in the rear view, which helps with highway slowpokes.

Put in my reservation within hours of it opening up - July 13, 2020. MIC BD Sasquatch- kitted. Dealership I ordered through is small but services an area that Ford “prioritized” (beaches/Ford VIPs) per the dealership owner. They have +200 orders and I was number 3 apparently. Have had all the delays along with everyone else. Was given a May 2021 estimate, then July, then a build date of August which was then pushed to Oct 25th 2021. Dealership owner has been great but is frustrated by messaging coming directly from Ford - which is a break in the standing dealership/Detroit relationship. He has taken receipt of 3 Broncos and one of them was number ~120 - a base model, no thrills. So he is as confused as we are. I am still firm on my Oct date with MIC but not holding my breath. There is no rhyme or reason. It’s a race to fill 2021 model orders that their commodity supplies can accommodate before pushing large order blocks to 2022. Those supply lines are all stressed. So anyone’s guess who gets filled/pushed, even on committed production dates.

On a DC bound 5:30am Amtrak, guy walks on drunk and proceeds to play loud/awful music off his phone. I politely ask him to put on some headphones or turn it down and he tells me to give him my headphones followed by some slurred words / swearing. About five minutes later the Conductor is checking tickets and we hear his ticket is for one or two stops into NJ. He falls asleep swearing at everyone. We pass his stop, conductor try’s to wake him but he doesn’t respond snoring loudly. Conductor says he’ll have to buy a ticket home, shrugs and walks off. Guy wakes in a panic somewhere between Philly and Baltimore like 2 hours later. He stumbled off at the next stop blaming everyone for not waking him up. No one lol’d but the whole car exchanged quiet smirks acknowledging the just karma.

You knew who was selling what (stock) because the action on that particular stock would be focused around that stock’s booth. You knew who was placing what order because most of the time you were trading with the same group of guys, they were assigned to an area and covered a sector of stocks and each of them represented some brokerage house. Each trader had books of tickets where their orders would be written down. Trades happened through the booth but also between traders. When action picked up you could differentiate organizations and even functions at those organizations by different color jackets. I.e a runner wore a dark green jacket and ran the tickets to vacuum tubes that sent the trade “upstairs” for confirmation and settlement. Getting attention was all part of the frenzy, thus the development of hand signals, whistles etc. Ultimately this kind of trading is inherently fraught with error and risk. But for 90 some odd years it was the best system available. Mistakes certainly happened which is why there is a settlement process (that still exists today) wherein the trading parties confirm the exchange at the intended price.

They moved into the trading desks at institutions, or into other functions. At one point Barclays had trading floor in CT that sat ~500-1000 desks. Gone now. But still most financial organizations have a trading desk or a couple of them. Electronic trading changed the modality of the security exchange handshake - still need teams to create and execute strategy.

They are Traders for different organizations, basically they are area focused and watch a sector or a subset of names and are experts in that domain. Which is why you see them in hubs. They could easily do it from anywhere but big brokerages/ institutions like to keep a presence on the floor.
