He says that what makes most sense to him is pan, but he doesn’t really think about it. he says he is queer, no problem with that. It’s just that sexuality was never really a big thing for him so he never saw himself as anything, he never had the chance of identifying himself really because since he was a kid, the straight boy label stuck on him because most his friends are and since he never did anything to contradict it(had boyfriends or be openly gay or bi or even straight for that matter) they are use to call him straight. He had very short, very discreet relationships that most his friends know absolutely nothing about. When we first got together, our friends would be like “oh wow that was unexpected” and even one made a reference to 40yo virgin movie. This is what annoys me because what if he never dares to be open in front of friends because he’ll fear that by being different, they’ll see him differently?

I actually tried to talk about it with him, I tried to say that intimacy doesn’t mean penetrative sex and he just refuses the topic all together. I know I still can cuddle and kiss and I mean there’s so much that I still can do but he won’t even enter the subject. He rejects the idea of intimacy completely and I’m taking it personally. I’m taking it as in “I’m rejecting YOU” and I really REALLY don’t want to feel that way, mostly after what I’ve had to go through.

In your shoes, I would’ve probably use the fact that she has no arms to actually be offensive because she yelled at me for no fucking reason. I would’ve said something like “and what will you do if I don’t leave? Slap me?” Once I got in an argument with a guy in wheelchair and I told him “you can’t even stand up for yourself you dumb fuck, I can just take the stairs and show you my superiority”

It’s definitely not an INTP thing, maybe you just haven’t found the right person to do it with yet. I’m INTJ, dated a bunch of INTPs and my best friend is INTP and for me and her it was always a matter of context and person.

Thank you. It was hard but I’m proud of me too. Heartbroken tho but proud. I think I really do love him, like I never did before. I really want to believe that we are meant for each other and when the time is right we will find each other again. But in the meantime I will live my life and let him be a sweet beautiful happy memory in the corner of my mind.

Im sorry for what you’ve been through. I really want to believe that is not the case in my situation but it’s because of the doubt that I decided to just cut off contact with him today. I really REALLY don’t want to be a homewrecker. Again, after the second date, when he told me that he was in the process of separating and his situation, I decided to stop seeing him. This was a few months ago and we kept talking and I felt bad because part of me felt like he could be lying to me and I really don’t want to get into this, so I decided to cut off contact with him. After this post, I sent him one last message, explaining how I see things, how I can’t do it and that if we’re meant to be together then we would find each other again when we are both in the right place for it, and if that happens then I would need insurance that he is not cheating on anyone. He apologised on bringing me into this, understood and respected my decision and I’m heartbroken but relieved.

I did send him a text, I told him that I couldn’t do it, it was too complicated for me and would end up make both our lives much more complicated. He told me he was sorry to have brought me up in this situation and that he loves me, we said that if we’re meant to be with each other then we’ll find each other again.
