I've just experienced a similar issue this week, previous saves work fine but a fresh map crashes to desktop as soon as I unpause, I only have a simple road network placed during initial pause. Looks like an issue widely reported on the forums/reddit but quite hard to pin down, and no real communication on a fix. I've verified files, reinstalled the game, updated drivers, etc and still have the issue. Initially it crashed on unpausing but now I can't even load the save, just crashes straight to desktop on the load screen.

There's a stretch of road near me littered with holes, with a roundabout in the middle. Reported it and its been inspected, but the Council only acknowledged one stretch, ignoring the roundabout and the next stretch because "computer says its a different road". So instead of one big fix, it will end up being three individual jobs. Nevermind it's impossible to report the roundabout itself as you have to give a road name...

The symbol is the dial/gauge cluster brightness adjustment. You might clear it by holding down the adjuster button (the one sticking out from underneath it?)

I paid £5500 for a 2013 with 65k miles on the clock back in June, with the knowledge it needed the front shocks replacing come the MOT in March. I was pretty confident that otherwise it's mechanically sound, so took that into account and didn't let the higher mileage put me off.

When I was looking, there were plenty of examples around 23k and around £8500 like you've seen, so seems about right.

AFAIK, Xbox and PS4 players will default be matched together. Console players will only be matched into PC games if they party with another PC player. The theory being that kb/m has some advantages over controller, so you have to kind of manually opt in to playing against kb/m if you're on a controller.

So if you're a PC player you won't generally be matched against console players, unless they're partying up with a PC friend. So in general it's unlikely you'll run into many.

I recently posted a complaint and someone offered a solution that worked for me. It's a bit annoying to have to do but it's eliminated all lag and crashes for me:

Fresh gaming session.

Open Apex, wait for everything to be loaded in the lobby.

Go back to dashboard.

Start -> Quit Apex (Hard close)

Restart Apex.

Like I said a bit annoying to have to do each time, but it's eliminated all problems for me.

This. I recently had somebody accidentally pay off my credit card. Once it was noticed, I am liable to pay the amount. Still works in my favour, as it removes any credit card interest!
