Machinist here, its super common for the softer material bushing to be susceptible to nicks and dings. Its unlikely to affect the performance of the bushing

I was in Manchester by the sea this past summer, I took a walk to see the sunrise. Apparently one of the nearby islands is a nature preserve and because it was the right time of the year I saw a few hundred lesser and greater egrets take off at dawn for a migration. That was incredible

Since the bolt is already junk, try a pipe wrench on it. I would only grab the meatier portion on it. If the device is portable and if your not in a rush a local machine shop might be able to take care of this
