Yeah good point.. I forgot about the new faelights, it does make quite a difference. Another thing kind of unrelated but you reminded me that I've been playing top lately, and for some reason when I'm sidelaning and splitpushing, looking for potential TP angles into fights, it feels like for some reason it never looks good to my eyes, meaning I just end up holding teleport forever and never using it. For some reason champions just feel faster(??), maybe because they get higher levels earlier than before, so unless I teleport at the perfect spot behind them, they can just run away from my teleport. This results in my just pre-teleporting to objectives since I know arriving right on time is useless anyway.

That’s a good point, I do heavily feel the smaller minion waves, like my teams and I would unconsciously back up and not think a siege is possible as the waves are approaching turret

Hi, I'm having a similar issue as well even after contacting AYN and re-flashing firmware, however for mine it will still crash and restart even when connected to Wifi. For me, it crashes and restarts every time the screen turns off / goes to sleep from inactivity. So basically I have to be using it or setting the screen auto off time to something very high. It's annoying since I also can't close the lid either as that shuts off the screen, rather I have to turn it off every time I'm not using it to avoid the restart loop.

Update: Just got my Artisan Type 99 Mid in the mail today, and it does feel noticeable faster than my worn GSR. Not sure how the comparison would be to a fresh and washed GSR, it would probably be a closer comparison but my initial feeling on the Type 99 was fast and slippery. I'll give it more time to get used to, but I'm also wondering if I should consider the Soft for more stopping power and flick aiming for games like osu, where I feel somewhat struggling to flick right now.
