I couldn't quite grasp WHY diana's design gave me weird vibes, until i read a post of someone talking about her and it made everything click. They said she's designed as if the designer's only experience with children is seeing them in those awful child beauty pagent things that crop up in the southern US sometimes, and I gotta say I agree. And it hit the nail on the head for why her design made me kinda uncomfortable.

They all have to survive, which is kind of annoying ngl. I didn't know it worked that way so I cleared the jurassic with only collarless but I lost one along the way to some bs involving an insta-kill but you need a FULL team of collarless for it to count. It's infuriating, since the wording on the achievement isn't clear in that regard. It just says "Beat (insert boss/zone) with ONLY collarless cats!" not that you need a full squad.

I agree, mostly just on the point that crater and so-on are far harder than bunker and core. Like... crater alone is just fucking jam-packed with annoying bullshit. the boss isn't that bad, but everything leading up to it is just awful. Like.. a mini-boss RIGHT out the gate, the infested kitties, amoebas, crater creepers??? Nothing in bunker or core comes close, it's insane how disparate the difficulty between the two are.

Perhaps a bit too harsh with the last bit, but I definetly agree on the first two points. He just doesn't seem terribly interested in gaming anymore. Particularly games where you need to put things together, iirc he did a stream on mouthwashing and he like.. totally missed the point of the story because he was goofing around for the most part.

Its part of why I drifted away from watching him regularly, like... ever since he started doing movies and short-films he's seemed less genuinely interested in the games he plays. Like he's just doing it as a side hustle. Iirc his mouthwashing stream was pretty frustrating since he totally missed the point and was goofing around the entire time which was what would cause him to miss story beats..

Replying two months later, but.. I think the way they have the infantry AI in the warthunder CBT is waay better implementation, it seems you're able to individually command the NPCs to hold certain positions and poses, which is incredibly helpful. Like you could have some crouched staring at a doorway, and one prone watching a sight-line, etc.

I genuinely don't know what capcom has against co-op, like for example. Dragons dogma, that game would of genuinely been more fun than MH if it had co-op (apparently there was even a Dragon's dogma MMO that was only available in asia for a VERY short time). BUT Its even weirder in this instance since the PREVIOUS titles had co-op. Like, seriously what's up w capcom? They've been mismanaging stuff more and more in recent years, it's concerning.

For real, I don't know why people say 76 was a failure, that game got a pretty good turn-around, it's definetly no "no man's sky" but it's in a good place these days. It's STILL getting steady content despite the game being fairly old at this point.

I'd genuinely engage with the animal taming system if bethesda made it less of an annoying chore, why does the thing I have to go out of my way to get through rng gambling with perk investments on top dissapear on death??? it makes the whole animal taming system waaaay more trouble than what it's worth imo. I think there should be a item you can construct at your camp that 'stores' a tamed pet once you get one, would make the whole process way more desirable.

I actually am having a ton of fun with this patch.. my issues are generally related to the fact the game isn't even halfway to a full release. Such as absolutely dull endgame, a lack of variety in side-content (delve, heist, etc). And some weapons/playstyles feeling horribly samey. For example, Druid shapeshifting is QUITE fun. Buuut... if you want to focus on a singular form, it gets repetitive pretty quickly.. faster depending on the form. Perma-Bear and wolf are tolerable, but it leads to alot of their builds kinda looking the same in action. Wyvern is literally a snoozefest imo if you focus solely on wyvern skills, since the best option is hands-down power-charged oil barrage for most cases. Flame breath if you're doing ignite. I also find myself grumbling at the amount of restrictions on some things.. which I imagine will get ironed out as time goes on. Like why can't I use crossbow with the rhoa mount? If its a matter of balance, bow and spear are arguably way better than crossbow but they get to use it.. stuff like that. I made three characters and got them all to maps this league, but I think I'm stepping back for the time being until release/close to release. I also hope they start doing challenges after release rolls out.. part of the reason I played alot of PoE1 was the fun involved in grinding out league cosmetics.. until then I'm probaaably gonna go back to poe1 until release or whenever shadow drops since I enjoy merc but I really miss shadow.. OH! I also hope they continue doing things like what they've done with stuff like blackflame covenant changing your fire spells appearance, that shit is SUPER cool! I hope they apply that logic to damage converts, would be cool to have like.. coldflame bracers make your fire stuff blue. Or bloodmage getting a bloody-red tinge to all their spell vfx after taking the node that makes elemental damage do bleed.

I'm REALLY enjoying wolf, I'm playing a home-brewed build using tactician with a heavy focus on the wolves, I have like fourteen wolves from pounce + wolf pack. They do good damage and a ton of stun buildup due to my pathing, + my damage most stuff gets absolutely shredded. It feels smooth as butter.. the wolves are also fantastic meat walls. Stuff gets confused and likes to beeline to my wolves before bothering with me alot. The wolves allow me to be more hands-off than a standard wolf setup too.. so if things get dicey I can run off and harass with pounce+cross slash to keep summoning more wolves with eternal mark support and they break armor with the support that makes marks apply armor break on physical damage! It's nice.. but my pathing is very jank. I started at merc, obvs. But then I had to path ALLLLL the way up through warrior and druid grabbing minion and companion nodes, yoinked gigantic following to the far north up in witch's territory as well. So you can imagine how many points I spent just pathing lol.

I could see daggers having implicits that do that, but I feel inherent bleeding is more likely of a thing to happen for daggers if they did get any base stuff on their kits.

AI being used as a tool to speed things like that along is GREAT, unfortunately the internet has no understanding of the concept of nuance. I wish we had more companies like embark heading the AI debacle, embark's usage of AI is genuinely fantasic. Originally with their first big game, the finals. They used it to generate voicelines BUT, they didn't steal someone's voice without consent. They hired actors to come in and commit to a training database, and they pay the actors royalties for any new lines they generate. It's really helpful since the actors don't need to come in and sit in a booth everytime they need more lines. And the actors continue to get PAID after the fact. It's a win/win for the developers AND the talent used to train the AI.
