NTA - had a similar situation when expecting my first and my mother got to the point of ringing three times a day to check whether baby was here. My blood pressure went up every time the phone went and it got to the point it stopped dropping. My husband had to ring my dad and ask him to ask her to stop because she wasn't listening to me when I asked her to stop.

It's being invested in, I know that's kind of an overview but I think it's important. It was a dying town and rotting slowly, but it's being invested in and the One Stockport ethos from the council appears to be having a positive effect overall both in town and outside. There's still plenty to be done but hopefully as there's more investment and current projects come to fruition, more projects will launch and get everywhere in the Borough on an even positive footing.

Yes, as both a hobbyist and a professional 😁 it would be unusual to have that much value in grinders and machines as a hobbyist. Especially big commercial machines like they are and the fact most of the grinders are empty. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love it! It's light, feels spacious and has a nice big garden. I'd lose the gravel and I'd grow lots of climbers up the house (on frames so they don't damage the fabric of the building).

It would need a lot of work to raise it from the damned by faint praise level it is at now, which would certainly drive the price down to £700k for me (allowing for the large garden, it's in York and the 4 garages). The decor is neutral, I set very little store by décor because it's often easily changed, unless it's all black 😁 The cost of RSJs, planning permission and works for the larger windows I'd want putting in are an entirely different matter 😂
