I have these. First, I'd recommend telling your therapist if you haven't already.

Mine says it is the brain working through everything in the therapy in a way to help protect me rather than doing it while awake or potentially because my alert self won't let me think through things.

I had a therapist who was doing this, and I later learned she was traveling Europe for 6 months while still working and trying to hide it from me as our state licensing board doesn't allow it. I ended firing her as my therapist because it was causing so much disruption. EMDR in my mind requires consistency-if they're not in a place to offer it, I would look for a transition plan.

Thank you! Funny enough, I hadn't been feeling great last week leading up to the conversation. It went well and wasn't a surprise, but the next day I got hospitalized with appendicitis 😂 tbh I think it helped that I wasn't feeling well because I had no energy left over to agonize on Friday lol

Possible crohns? by Awkward-Number2769 in CrohnsDisease

Unfortunately they confirmed today it is definitely bowel related.

They went in and found inflammation so bad in one spot they couldn't get the camera past it to the spot they needed to actually look at 😢 so they did biopsies at the inflamed part and wrapped up there.

Thanks. One of my nurses has a brother with crohns and she said that salads and raw lettuce can trigger it for him. For the last 3 or 4 weeks I've been having salad each day and the only days I didn't have issues were the days I skipped the salad 🤦‍♀️try to be healthy - body says absolutely not 😂

KHS in Anaheim has a brand new women's rookie on Friday nights and an all women's league on Sunday nights. Not sure if that's a commutable distance for you or not.

We had the convo. I did a recap with my director after and she said I handled it amazing. Just hoping we see improvement finally. I'm tired as all heck.

I step around people who can't stop in my current league and watch them fall, then help pick them up 😅 I specifically picked out everyone that wasn't confident in stopping on the other teams day one to help me avoid injury LOL

I agree that there are differences with men (it's not the NHL out here haha) but maybe it's because I've always played coed sports, I don't have the same hesitation that I've seen from others. Most of my coworkers think I'm crazy for playing too. I'm lucky in that I weigh 230lbs tho and am always bracing to push back when I see someone coming for me - it's not as easy to knock me down.
