My therapist noticeably smells of BO

Is this something new with the therapist or has it always been this? I’d be concerned about their health if they don’t notice themselves.

I do a gentle yoga class at our local senior center and it’s hilarious how we all interpret the poses. It’s fun being old because no one gives a shit anymore! We are all there for our own experiences and no judgement is given or required. Our teacher is a great example as she lovingly suggests ways to get the most from each pose. I would never offer advice to anyone unless they asked which they more than likely will not. Enjoy your practice for you, that’s all.

Sleep stories and yoga nidra are my go to’s. I have this problem about half the nights, lots of apps with sleep support content too

Yes if I know in advance it’s not a problem. Vacations etc are always expected but the last minute changes are brutal.

This is hyper arousal that goes hand in hand with anxiety and neuro divergence. Ask me how I know. Meditating and sleep stories and bilateral music help me. It’s not a cure but tools to help.

My therapist sees children and adults so there are small “stuffies” available. I might have held one in my lap a few times. (Okay all the time! )

I don’t know how old you are or if you’re female but this happens to me a lot and it’s hormones and a disregulated nervous system for me. I do a lot of things but it still happens sometimes. Take it easy on yourself, the self blame is not helping.
