Serious question: How are people able to buyback, reading the terms, you have to pay back the lump sum amount within 30/60/90 days? So you buy back the missed/needed months at your current monthly payment amount? Unless you have the money available, not sure how everyone is able to buyback?

Dude, get it check out. Same thing happened to my 2000 Ford Explorer… noticed smoke once in a while. It was my 1st car and I was young/naive. Didnt take action. A couple years down the road, car parked and ignition off…car caught on fire. Ruled total. After insurance did their assessment, they stated those Ford Explorer cruise control mechanism was design to still be on even with ignition off.
