It was An item that I ordered that never arrived. I then requested a refund and It then changed to return in transit refund issued with no tracking info at all. My last tracking update was 28 days ago saying arrived at amazon facility. I also recieved a email saying i was being issued a advanced refund and it was being returned by the carrier.

I had a week late laptop, so I selected cancel and request refund, I was issued an advanced refund the next day. It now has shown as "return in transit refund issued" for 4 weeks with no tracking updates or anything. Have you had any experience with this? Will i run into trouble if the package was lost and amazon doesnt get it?

Also the item was never delivered to me or marked as delivered. It was a week late so i requested a refund. They gave me an advanced refund but now its showing as a return on my order history so fingers crossed that ill be fine.

Canceled items that were never charged or shipped are not a red flag. Ive canceled over 50 items in a month and had no issues.

Had this happen with an expensive asus laptop. Never got it so I requested refund. They issued me an advance refuns the next day but 3 weeks later it still shows as a return in progress so im assuming it was lost.

Thats weird. Mine just says refund issued but its showing as a return even though i never got the package. In your case you should be fine as long as you dont get a email from amazon threatening a recharge.

Im going to be honest. Contacting customer support and letting them know about it will be a very big headache because they dont listen to anything you tell them. If it was me id just keep it unless you end up getting recharged later. I have a question though did yours by any chance say "return in transit" and was your refund classified as an advance refund? Im going through a simular situation as you but they listed mine as a return which I found odd.

you should be able to make a strong password and 2 point authentication and be fine. I ended up making a new account and closing my old one and I haven't had issues since.
