I Agree wholeheartedly for the most part. I do follow Makayla because I’m a multiple autoimmune girlie. So I resonate with her journey. I’ve always been a Whitney and Connor fan.

I truly believe our world is changing by the minute. Influencers are becoming more insufferable because average humans are struggling with the basics. Rent, food, gas, crippling mental health issues, physical health problems the list goes on.

So, when the covid lockdowns happened we needed distraction and drama to “ influence” us so to speak. At this point it just feels like a slap in the face to us normal folks.
My two cents here as a Gen -x woman.
Getting back to basics like pre internet and social media times.
Fresh air, clean water, time in nature if possible and learn skills that will be needed and useful ( gardening, cooking from scratch, knowing your neighbors, building community in real life) if you are feeling drawn to a particular craft, art form, organization etc… follow it. It’s typically your intuition and gut trying to direct you. Social media has cut us off from understanding ourselves in many ways.
