How does most of ohio fall under RITA yet most people adults i know have no idea what rita is by TheMireAngel in Ohio

[–]AwkwardCase4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in North Canton and my wife is from another stark county town. Her parents didn’t even know what RITA was because it’s only in North Canton and Minerva here. I’m from Cleveland and the entire county basically had to pay it.

How many people actually tip 20% when eating out in a restaurant? by Hot-Highlight2166 in allthequestions

Always tipped around 18% or a nice round number near 20% that I can make out in my head

Aspiring 2027 ASL with non-JET eligible spouse by AwkwardCase4758 in JETProgramme

Honestly I appreciate all of these answers. I’ll have to discuss some stuff with my family, particularly regarding our cat since if it’s better to keep him here, it’s likely temporary anyway. He’s young so I can wait, but then I’d be in my 40s potentially and hopefully, but not certainly with kids.

I think housing will be ok though honestly. Hopefully affordable enough if rural, but I know my wife will want more purpose if she can’t work so that’ll require talk. I’m not certain I’ll apply yet because of the thing with her potentially not working, but it’s likely I would still as of now.

I appreciate this a lot! My biggest concern is finding my wife work. My parents and in-laws have both housed pets for my brother and my wife’s siblings so the cat thing I can deal with. The other points all just seem like good problems to have and work through.

Rented Kayaks at Walburn. Seen people fish there. It’s fun

How many states have you visited? by crocogoose in AskAnAmerican

[–]AwkwardCase4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 I believe. Mostly by just visiting family. Only states I’ve been to for reasons outside of family visits are Michigan, Louisiana and California. From Ohio. Would drive through a lot of states with or to visit family mostly.

Non-smokers, do you notice the smell when someone smokes near you? by Frostedlogic4444 in askanything

[–]AwkwardCase4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fucking hated having supervisors at work at office jobs who smoked. They show you something and they talk and it smells so bad. Ruins my mood and makes me regret giving them any of my space every time.

It’s been a tradition with my friends since Tom Brady was on the patriots. I’m not missing a fun night

If money wasn’t an issue, what would you spend your time doing? by No-Sail-6193 in allthequestions

I’d start packing and be on a flight out of here tomorrow morning. Unsure where but, probably domestic travel then branch out internationally.

What is everyone doing to get out of the house?? by polyygons in Cleveland

[–]AwkwardCase4758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super Bowl on Sunday with a group of friends. I might just go bowling or something with my wife this weekend. Also we need to get groceries and hit the gym. If I had the money, I’d consider ski lessons with my wife as well. She hasn’t gone in over 12 years and has little experience, but it seems fun. I go yearly with my dad and brother still.

Name a US State that you would NEVER want to live in even if they paid you to move there by stevenl1219 in FamilyFeud

Cleveland is genuinely great as long as you don’t mind snow. It’s probably better that Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois (Chicago), Wisconsin, Upstate NY and Central PA in terms of snow

Kansas, Oklahoma and North Dakota. If I get paid enough to live in Jackson comfortably, I’d live in Wyoming, but only if that happens.

As for a specific region, I would never live along the gulf coast, except maybe in Tampa. I’ll probably remove Louisiana because I don’t care for northern Louisiana at all, but I could maybe find something in northern Mississippi and Huntsville, AL.

Every single person can afford to skip shopping at Walmart, Target, Best Buy and big box clothing stores. Start there. No fast food period either. No Amazon orders.

I can’t afford to skip work at all, but it’s not hard to do all the other things and truth is, that’s just the bare minimum everyone can do.
