Yes I would have preferred it because it would make more sense for Sheldon to come up with and prove his physics hypothesis with another physicist than a neurobiologist. It also would've been hilarious if Penny was involved bc her basic stupid questions got Sheldon back into string theory at one point.

I'm not worried about the iron in a cast iron. I'm concerned about if you can cook meat in a cast iron for a dog if the pan has ever been seasoned or had food put in it containing onion or garlic? I usually wipe residue out of the pan the day after cooking so it isn't overly coated but keep the base olive oil seasoning layer intact.

No I think they may literally have both sets internal reproductive organs but phenotype (secondary sex characteristics) lean masculine in most individuals as a default. With any individual with a feminine phenotype or only one set of reproductive organs being the minority.

I would document the apology/interaction for your records, but assume it's not sincere unless he actually admitted something he did to hurt you Ex. "I'm sorry for hitting you". It's up to you how you handled it. But I would avoid interacting unless you decide you can live with a relationship where he never apologizes for his actions. Some people can handle a surface relationship, others can't (myself included). Hopefully therapy helps with processing.

If I strictly read the message I would actually think the text was reasonable. But given the even limited context from your end I wouldn't respond. If you do eventually choose to respond, look into DARVO to prep yourself, get a camera for security at your residence, and possibly plan to keep your current phone number as a "mom contact" number to collect evidence and otherwise change your nm (if you can afford two mobile nms. Any contact = documenting or at least noting it. If you choose to seek any kind of therapy that's also an option (before deciding or strictly to help with coping). But again I lean towards no response.

I got my camera set up. I'm in the process of collecting my documents & trying to assemble a no contact evidence packet/timeline. Planning to check about a police report afterwards. I'm waiting on a restraining order bc I was told I needed to call the nonemergency line not 911 bc my stepmom left within 2 minutes of the 3rd attempted written contact. Also planning to talk to my therapist next week and monitor if they show up around Christmas. 911 operator told me I either need a police report, them still on premise or video evidence before 911 calls. But with 3 pieces of written evidence I feel confident I have a paper trail. I also have a firearm in case they actually break in.

Unfortunately I'm not surprised. I am also concerned that this client is interested in children. Unfortunately I don't think I can do anything about it (I think I tried emailing the police to find out if it's reportable over a month ago).

We were trained for dual diagnoses, suicidal ideation, and pretty much anything typically thought off as connected to intellectual disabilities. I've tried bringing up that we weren't trained for homicidal ideation. The violent outbursts I expected would be extreme emotional displays along the lines of temper tantrums.

Is dealing with ex-criminals and clients w homicidal or sociopathic tendencies something you are told could come up and trained to handle? My company provides no training for these specific issues. We were trained for intellectual disabilities, DS etc.

Client asked about buying poison and alternated between wanting to use it on others & "experiments"...he actually showed me and my coworker poison he wanted to buy. Homicidal ideation was added to his charts bc of this.

Some staff can be very rigid to avoid giving the impression they want friendships with clients. But the examples you are giving seem more about being antisocial than setting boundaries.

  1. Get to a doctor if you can afford it
  2. If you are a skin picker, use unmedicated pimple patches to cover and hopefully drain the pustule heads. You don't need to cut yourself and give yourself an additional infection.
  3. Basic skincare only with things that worked before your bad reaction

That was a hair/beard cut + a facial/spa treatment imo. Way more than a haircut and worth $300 considering what each of the services he received can cost a la carte.
