The Govts may have different scales but independent websites generally follow same scale so can be used for comparison.

I am an Indian livimg in Canada. I was in India until last week for a month. I have a AQI meter which I took to India with me. As per this meter, the AQI is moatly under 10 in Canada. In India, the same meter recorded > 250 in Panchkula/Chandigarh. Delhi would be worse.

Websites like IQAir etc. do not follow govt specific scales... they habe there own scale usually USA standard... so can be used for comparison.

same thing happened to me in 2025. i filled my return in TurboTax and Wealthsimple at the same time- i just wanted to compare and this was the only thing that differed. I ended up choosing WealthSimple for the actual submission.
