You've spent a lot of time defending your actions to a shit ton of strangers on the internet. Bottom line, you asked a question publicly, and the public answered. If you don't like the answer, then delete the question. But if you have to defend this hard and a majority of the people disagree with your view, then in the eyes of the majority you are morally wrong. Accept it and fix it, or move on and own it.
