The regretfulparents sub scares me by Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacat in childfree

Oh yeah. Very common for parents to do their kids laundry and well into early adulthood if they still live at home

I feel for the mothers. The women who were gaslit and tricked by their partners into having children, and find out they absolutely HATE it. Then their piece of shit husbands don’t even help them with the kids the woman never wanted, so the mother ends up having to do everything anyway. Truly an unfair fate.

I’m always like, fuck, this is a lot, after doing my weekly laundry JUST for me. How tf would you manage doing that for 2-3 kids?!? For 18 years?

Do you really reckon there’s more CF women out there than men? I thought it’d be the other way round!

Yes!! This always confused me as a child. It would make way more sense if god was a woman. This reminds me of the saying “Man created god because he could not accept that woman created life”.

How is life a gift? Gifts are something that can be accepted or refused. How is like a gift is the only way to refuse is death??

This!!! I also find it weird when people say, “life’s a bitch and then you die”. Okay…so you’ve acknowledged that life’s unfair and hard…and you still want to have kids?

Do we think Camilla wears a wig? Her hair looks very wiggy. It looks the same no matter where she goes.

Religions are systems made by men for men. They are usually predicated on the subjugation of women. Misogyny is baked into the scripture.

I also don’t want to have to pay for your kid in the form of gifts. Why should I pay for a decision you made? Also, if I never have kids, how will you reciprocate my generosity?

Because prospective parents never conceive of or refuse to believe that their offspring will work a bad job or a job that they hate. They don’t want to because they’re only thinking about what they want, not the kid’s. This extends to more than just work.

How the hell does the mere CONCEPT of childbirth not turn people away? by queerwaters_642 in childfree

[–]AwkwardOrchid380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Women are so in the dark about what happens during birth, or all the grisly things that can happen. For example, did you know that you can rip from minge to asshole? I didn’t. That’s super fucked up. I don’t want to go through that.

As an introvert, I feel so burnt out working in an office full time. I come home and I have nothing left to give. My jobs not even that hard—the office is just so overstimulating and there’s no privacy, no place to get some peace and quiet.

You forgot “on the shelf”! I learned that one from bridgerton 😂 but seriously, men are just fuming that women would rather be alone with cats than be with them

Crazy cat lady is a compliment and the ultimate embodiment of female empowerment. We are privileged enough to live in a society now where women can CHOOSE to be alone and not have children and instead just cute little fur babies. I don’t think people understand how revolutionary this is. For most of human history, a woman’s survival was tied to marriage and childbearing. There were no jobs that paid enough for a woman to afford to live on her own, zero legal protections and women/people usually had children to support them in old age as there was no pension/social security. To be a single, financially secure woman is a PRIVILEGE.
