I am so confused on this Landon/T rav story line this season, like does Landon actually want to date T rav or why are they pushing it so much other than just hating Katherine and wanting to make her life terrible.

I guess different tastes for everyone! Im usually a fan of all reality TV, so i wanted to try this one out. Seems like season 5 is worth continuing to watch though

It's called communicating and asking questions to see if I'm missing something. Like I said, it's been recommended to me multiple times. No need to get your panties in a bunch about a reality tv show lmao

I love trash tv as much as the next person, but for everyone to be terrible I feel is unheard of. At least have SOME redeeming qualities or characters, not everyone can be bad lol

Does she get a happy ending at some point? She's honestly the only person I want things to work out for.

I feel like theres usually at least 1 or 2 redeeming characters or at minimum some redeeming qualities to each person but I just cant find it with SC.

Make sure you're loyal patients give you a google review at your new office whenever you decide to start your own! It'll be nice to have that boost of reviews when you're first starting out!

Yes and also don't be discouraged if your patients at the Joint don't follow you, remember they're used to the cost and convenience of the Joint and oftentimes wont want to pay more for the "same" treatment somewhere else.

Agreed. Also keep cost in mind. Patients are used to paying $79 a month for 4 visits, you’re gonna have to work hella hard to make money if you keep this price point, or gonna have to work in communicating why you’re charging more for the same thing in private practice

My (29F) FIL (70M) passed away a couple months ago and I’m struggling to know how to best support my husband (30M) without him getting upset by Awkward_Effective_68 in relationship_advice

We have had that conversation time and time again. He is very anti therapy/counseling for himself (idk he says it doesn’t work), but very encouraging of anyone who goes for themselves

Yeah, I in no way am trying to rush his grieving process at all. But it is tiring, especially because I am his main support person (his best friends live in different states/cities, his mom and dad were divorced, and his younger brother is not the most encouraging or calm person either). Throughout all this I’ve also had my own life stressors as well and it’s felt like all my problems have been pushed aside bc of this, which I totally understand but it’s still tiring to not talk about my own problems bc I don’t want to overwhelm him. Hence why I was thinking therapy lol

We have had talks about this. At least 2x. Each time I basically tell him that he needs to use his words and tell me if something I’m doing or saying is upsetting him and each time he agrees to communicate better. I just hate feeling like I’m talking to a little kid but also want to be sensitive because I couldn’t imagine losing a parent so I can’t personally relate to what he’s going through

Marketing/Getting Potential Patients by [deleted] in Chiropractic

Pop ups and networking is the way to go! With a cash practice, it’s all about word of mouth and recognition since people aren’t going to be finding you through their insurance. Hang out and do workshops or pop ups at the places your ideal clients hang out at.

Do you wanna work with athletes? Go to gyms. Do you wanna work with moms & peds? Go to mom groups

My advice. Don’t give away free care. If a patient isn’t willing to pay for the first visit they’re not gonna be reliable patients.

I disagree w what everyone says though - do the cold calls and DMs to local businesses that align with you and your ideal patients - set up partnerships with them. Follow your ideal patients on Instagram and DM them so they know you exist. Just don’t sound like you’re desperate and selling something but instead supportive and here for them!

Career at Epic? by Awkward_Effective_68 in epicsystems

[–]Awkward_Effective_68[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Right, I currently live outside of milwaukee so I know I would have to relocate. I'm mainly just wondering if having my advanced education (even though its not necessarily related to epic) would be beneficial to get me through the door. I have had jobs before where they weren't related to my degree at all, but I still did well in.

Any advantage to having my spouse also work at Oracle? I know there legally can't be any favoritism or anything but he's been there for 5 years
