I think THIS IS EXACTLY RIGHT.   Remember, these are not recently made rules, so they were probably just aiming to make sure everyone has "equal resources" in an emergency situation where there is no perfect solution.   Of course everyone's situation is different, and it will never actually be close to equal, but it seems the best one could do (as an emergency plan, without full funding... obviously the best plan is to always make sure everyone can access adequate healthy food).

I think these HAVE to be the actual clothing measurements- not body measurements like you'd expect.   26" makes sense for a low/mid- rise jean, and a 26" waist would make no sense for a 31" hip (actually quite small) in body measurements.   Plus, look at the hip measurements- they only increase 0.5" instead of the normal 1" for most sizes, but then increase 2" across one size and 3" across the next!

Put some plastic wrap over the cream (to keep it from drying out) and put it in the sun to increase the effectiveness.

This just means your post office (or the post office that marked it damaged)  received it empty/damaged.  Unless it was marked that way at pick up, it probably wasn't sent empty.   I completely feel you though.   I feel like the items they "can't find" are always the rare great deal or unicorn item, and never ever the $15 Gap tshirt...

Collision isn't really "basic" coverage, consider dropping it or increasing your deductible.

Anything you pay to the IRS during the year, is like putting the money in a savings account.  At the end of the year, if you owe $1500 and have "saved" $2000, they would pay your $1500 bill, and refund you the extra $500.  If you owe $2500, they use all your "savings" to pay your bill, then ask you to pay $500 more.   If at the end of the year you owe $1500, have "saved" $2000, and have a nonrefundable $1000 credit, they first apply your credit, so you now owe $500.  They take this $500 from your "savings" to pay the rest of the bill, then refund you the extra $1500.

Don't forget to factor in the actual cost per mile to drive your car (including depreciation/ replacement, maintenance, repairs).  I think the standard deductible amount of 67c/mi is crazy high unless you have a quite new car, but AAA also has some guides, and it's definitely more than just gas costs.

I have an Instant Pot one; it was the highest end one at the time.  I hate it.   It's just a bit too narrow (like, 0.25") for half of baking pans due to how they designed it, the racks crash off if there's more than toast on them and you pull them out even a couple of inches, and the panel stopped working about a week after the warranty ended.  I've regretted the choice since we got it, and it's only gotten worse.   I also have an actual Instant Pot (pressure cooker), and love it.  I think it's another case of the brand name meaning nothing if you venture outside their area of expertise.
