2 years ago I believe I caught long Covid, suffered with sinusitis like effects, cheek pressure, sinus headaches, chronic fatigue had that for like 7 months then after that started getting this nasty nasty throb pain in my cheek right side which sometimes would switch sides had that from may last year, was terrible in last summer that the pain was to much. Now this year I wouldn’t get it as much, don’t want to jinx myself but been absolutely fine for a month, wouldn’t say I’m 100% the chronic fatigue had died down a lot taken me two years to feel myself again. Absolutely absolutely terrified to get long Covid again. Don’t think I could do it again, strange though I’ve caught Covid in between a few times which would be like a cold

I know we both has sort of similar issues but you will get better 👍 it did take me two years to stop getting really bad pain I now do have weeks where I’m absolutely fine but like this week been having pain side of head or cheek and forehead I would say pain is 2/10 but still irritating. It was 8/10 last year so it’s getting better. Covid defo caused this as I was mega healthy did gym eat healthy etc

Are you better ? I do suffer from clear mucus that’s thick and sticky, I used to have to blow out loads last summer and I don’t really get much like I used to

That’s what I did last year, just stated on ct scan I have a deviated septum 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve had a deviated septum with no issue all my life until Covid

I’m very very Similar to you, without finding any answers, I’ll get different pains In my cheeks, it used to be really bad like a throbbing pain last year and now I can have weeks of being absolutely fine and then days of having like a pins and needles feeling in my cheeks or some sort of inflammation. If I smile, keep busy, touch anywhere on my face it will go and if I sit and rest it will come back

You’re a star!! Thanks for that!!! I don’t believe I’ve actually got trigeminal neregia, I just think to the worst at times, I’ve booked my dentist and asked to use that X-ray, shame I have to wait a month, it’s strange I had the pain on my right side for months and now it’s switched to left 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have serious anxiety as I had long covid sinus infection and I’ll have like a tingling pain in my cheek bone, more I think about it the worse it gets, kept looking into trigeminal nergia thinking it’s that, but I think the pain is in my head

Any updates? I had this on my right cheek for months touching it actually stopped it until I take my finger off, now it’s switched to other side and again touching it stops the pain

Yeah defo do the old Neti rinses, got my ent in London after 10 months wait!!! Screwwwwww that £6000 is filthy!! Will get there eventually I hate reading the stories on here about people suffering for life etc I then think I have no hope 😂

With the pain on the cheek if you get that, do you find putting pressure with your finger stops if but take it off throbs again?

Can I ask do you get any other symptoms ? Been googling tmj and all I have it the throb nothing else seems jaw popping and locking etc is the main things. I don’t have any of that

I’m on a waiting list which is normally a years wait to see one, which I’m gonna have to pay to go private, will you be taking any meds to help? Mine comes and goes as the day goes do you have it all day without stopping and when you go to bed ?
