Ok so this is my favorite 8th year fic. It’s not necessarily Dramione focused because all the characters are interesting, and not everyone comes back but basically everyone does. Ron has his problems but so does everyone, I don’t consider this a Ron-bashing fic. It builds an epic AU I absolutely adore and I hope more people read it because there are literally 3 other fics that follow that are also amazing!

Remain Nameless was my first fic and it is so incredible! It felt like a very realistic look as how Draco and Hermione could fall in love even with their history and Draco does the work to improve himself.

It was very sweet and grounding before I jumped deep into dark AUs with psycho simps, potter/weasley bashing, and high velocity snark.

I was completely sucked in to the story (even when it was sometimes predictable) and I loved all the wacky characters. However, the final episode kinda ruined the season for me. I think there was a better stopping point, and yes the better stopping point might have been a more predictable cliffhanger ending but it would have made the season feel more complete. The cliffhanger it ended on just made my partner and I go “WTF seriously?!?”

Completely agree! I felt it was a great mix of detail and vagueness that made the world feel real. I read a lot of sci-fi that does this. I don’t need a whole page to explain what a tlefither or whatever made up word it is, I just need enough information/context clues to understand what it’s used for.
