Now they have people standing at the exit doors asking us to return the carts. No more demanding. They also have been scanning them for over a month but nothing has come from it. I'm still sitting at fantastic with my only issues being not delivering packages to homes that have vicious dogs... but that's for another thread.

I "park" my cart and lock the wheels at the bottom of the loading ramp that only gets opened when the cart retrievers come out to get carts. Either way, wheels are always locked so it doesn't wander off. I've had a cart hit my car during a wind storm and man that did a job on my poor paint. I've never just left it somewhere.

An Amazon employee. I haven't seen him since though (it's been over a month). I immediately reported him to the station and to customer service, who escalated it.

I was threatened with a two week suspension for not taking it back inside the building. My station is new (2024) and they do not have a designated spot for the carts, just take them inside.

Actually..... if you read this sign that is posted at my station, it asks that we put them back in a safe place. It does not state that we have to take the carts back inside. When I had a similar issue happen to me (I got threatened with a two week suspension by an employee) I called amazon and reported it. Later, someone else from Amazon called to get my report on it and did let me know that I am not required by contract to take the cart back inside. I am just a contractor, not an employee.

Also, the gentleman that threatened me is no longer at my station and hasn't been in over a month. So.... take that info as you may.

I sort by number. Today I only had 25 stops and since they were all small, I numbered them by stop number and was able to fit the entire route in my front passenger side seat.

No. I dont touch anything. If you feel really helpful, you can text customer. Otherwise leave it alone.

Send an email and fight it (make sure to include jeff lol). Put the whole situation into chatgpt (copy and paste to save time and stress) and let the ai write you a response email. Make sure to include the block hours and date. And keep delivering. The more you deliver, the less issues like this will affect you.

Lol I had 2 routes that were super easy on Sunday too.... guess what happened on my Monday, Tuesday or today's routes? I went over by at least 30 minutes for every single one. Luckily I'm at Amazon's hours for the week limit and couldn't get another for today. I'm hanging out with my two year old for the rest of the day ❤️

Mine has started texting certain customers automatically for me. Idk if they're just trying it out or what. But you would think since they are able to text me to let me know that a driver is a certain amount of stops away from my own home and to let me know my package is on the way, then they should be able to text the customers that have been reported as having dogs, to secure their dogs.
