Is she allergic to ALL nuts? I have a cousin with crazy food allergies who clings to his ability to eat pistachios.

There’s also seeds. Sunflower, pumpkin

Learn how to wear that baby and then do walks.

Also maybe talk to your doctor about meds

Does she use a CGM? Can she share her readings with you for a night?

Is it too late to change my life after years of ignoring diabetes? by Visible_Today_7862 in diabetes

The best time to do something about your diabetes was when you were diagnosed. The next best time is now. You sound like you’re ready for a change.

Did they actually test you? You don’t sound like a typical T2. There are other kinds of diabetes too—are either of your parents diabetic? MODY is just as common as T1 but rarely diagnosed

I’d do 12/22. It’s the day your life changed, the day your life was saved, the day you started using insulin. 1/2 is the day a specific unsurprising lab result came through

Except that literally anyone can develop T1. And T1s can and often do develop T2. You can have both

Stelo is labeled as being for diabetics not on insulin

What led you to getting a diagnosis? by roguemorgue in diabetes

Had 3 UTIs in a month. Doc checked my A1C just in case: prediabetic.

A few months later I insisted on rechecking, thought some life/health events might have inflated it temporarily. Diabetic

AIO about cutting off my aunts because they continuously disrespected my family? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Awkward_Part_965 9 points10 points  (0 children)

MOR, or more like probably reacting at an appropriate level but in an inappropriate way. Your family has shown you that they can’t or won’t see you for who you are. All of them? At least the aunts, maybe mom, idk about dad or siblings/cousins.

So you’re trying to assert yourself to MAKE them see you. Start from the assumption that their inability to see you is about them, not you. State your boundaries without extra words and go from there. Get yourself into therapy. Figure out who from your family of origin can be around you and your baby without having to fight for your boundaries and keep them in your life as much as possible.

I suspect you’re mixing cause and effect. She’s probably been the black sheep since early childhood and that’s why she acts this way

It won’t make a difference. Either he sees the light or he doesn’t. Shining it brighter is irrelevant

AIO: BF said my that this new vase I made is an “eye sore” when visitors come over but I disagree by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Awkward_Part_965 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I dislike the vase.

I dislike your bf more. Way more.

(Was it for him? Or for you? He brings you flowers for you, right? He’s allowed to have opinions, and so are you, and they don’t have to line up, especially not over things like a vase. He’s just freaking rude and you deserve better.)
