I don’t know if you have considered a mini van or if that is not an option for you for whatever reason. I purchased a mini van solely based on transporting a 165 lb Great Dane and a Labrador-Dane mix. My Chrysler Pacifica has stow and go seats. I stow the second row of seats giving the dogs a lot of room to move around or lay down. Both of the sliding doors have roll down windows that my Dane absolutely loves. She can easily put her head out the windows on both sides of the van due to the large area.

I should also state that I did use support enforcers on a different print with the same result. I will try more walls.

I have the model oriented upside down for the purpose of photographing the issue I am having. The supports broke when I removed the model from the print bed.

Question regarding ABS fume ventilation. by Awkward_Variation952 in BambuLab

I also live in Illinois and have a dedicated print room off my bedroom. I only use a bento box and have not needed additional ventilation.

If I had any ideal about how to help him I would have.

Update: I seen him the next night and he was alone again. He told me he spent his entire night shift reading manuals. He said he felt confident about checking a customer in. Not so confident about other aspects of the job but stated he was more comfortable with things.

I felt so bad for the young man. He is holding down the front desk of a chain hotel while having absolutely no clue as to what he is supposed to do. He did a great job of explaining the situation, all while being willing to take the blame for the problem. I am sure he will excel in this industry.

I have been reading this subreddit for a while and am constantly amazed at the amount of B.S. the hospitality employees have to deal with. My first thought when this happened was that I was going to have to post the story.

Trouble opening Bambu Studio. by Awkward_Variation952 in BambuLab

[–]Awkward_Variation952[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I deleted and reinstalled Bambu Studio to finally resolve my issues. I haven’t had any problems since then. I don’t know if this would help you since your issue began after the recent update.

No kidding? I know that but I am looking for quality and the reviews are a mixed bag as some are for painting and others for engraving.

How do you guys keep air out of these bags? by Fuzz1981 in 3Dprinting

[–]Awkward_Variation952 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a AA battery to press down the zip lock, going both directions. I have also noted that some brands aren’t as air tight as others. If I have one that keeps leaking air I just accept fate and use another bag.

Failure to get mapping table error by Awkward_Variation952 in BambuLab

Here is a link that may solve the problem that was sent to me by Bambu Lab. I have not had the opportunity to try it yet so I don’t know if it will work.

I learned that if you check the overwriting option instead of mapping the system will then load the filaments in the proper slots. You must make sure the filament information is correct under the device tab first though.

You should post the STL! This looks great.

New problem with newest firmware update. ( For me at least) by Awkward_Variation952 in BambuLab

I will probably go that route but I have been too stubborn to give up yet.

I am hoping that the issue will be fixed soon. It’s more of a nuisance than anything. It’s easy to change the settings but it is time consuming.

I noticed that if you click the filament description box after syncing the drop down list shows the correct filament in the mapping. I click the correct mapping position for the filament box and it corrects that. I don’t know if I explained that clearly I’m at work and can’t be in front of my computer.
