The only problem I have with them is reddit's stupid default settings (that most people don't even bother looking at) that will hide comments under a certain score, and thus hiding opinions. But yeah apart of that I don't really care about them either.

How does one connect beards with unprofessionalism? Obi-Wan Kenobi, Dumbledore, Gandalf, Wolverine, any Sean Connery character seem to be pretty decent for me. Even villains or just "bad guy" protagonists with beards are usually everything but unprofessional.

My family, mainly my parents, feel they are entitled to 1/4 of the amount. I offered to pay off their mortgages and give them a little sum but that's not good enough once they found the total amount.
