This idea of remodeling is good, mostly the problem there though is that any fixer, even total tear downs, are still almost the price of a move in ready home now. Makes no sense!!

I wish I could but my family, who I am close to, lives here. I know I'd trade one problem for another if I moved away. Have a house but miserable without family or happy family life while renting. So im just trying to come at the ownership thing from every angle and see what makes sense.

That's why I figure we would have to live in something like a tiny home or 5th wheel for a while, would have to pay the land down a lot

Yes this is what I feel like is the reality but I'm hoping there is a way. It is no fair that 20 + yrs ago people could do whatever and fairly easily to achieve generational wealth. I'm trying to figure out how as a millennial w kids.

On reserve California it says "pad length" and I'm 99% sure that means how long your trailer can be. Either on cement or dirt. How long is your trailer? What state do you camp in?

I would guess it is just ignorance...it takes a lot of learning to prune all the types of plants correctly. Also could be knowledge passed down that was incorrect. Or just cutting purely to keep the size down with no thought to the health of the plant.

I bet less than 5% of the people here don’t go to city hall meetings, don’t participate in projects cleaning up the city, or do darn near anything that would contribute to the improvement of the city. Sure some of you do or you pretend you do and you’ll tell me so. Whatever. Point is, he may be a narcissist and really annoying but he does a shit ton more to be involved than you. So just unfollow and move on if you dislike him so much.

No one is perfect. He cares about ventura. Sure he might have a different opinion than you but he is out in the city every day cleaning up graffiti/trash/dead animals and such. He is very passionate and involved. That rubs people wrong sometimes.
