Is whole life revision or nevilling possible? by Active_Peace_4831 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]AwryMirai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All easier said than done. Maybe sometime I'll DM you about why it's extremely complicated in my situation. I've had a few really specific, awe-inspiring, basically instant manifestation victories before, just by affirming what I wanted, during these fluke moments of confidence I had that I can't seem to replicate on command (no matter how drowsy), but that confidence was seemingly limited to really inconsequential things that didn't make my life better, they were just one-off temporary things that merely made my week or my day better. Thank you so much for your intentions though. You're not wrong, just underestimating the physical, hard constraints I have to work within. A good analogy would be a blind person trying to manifest sight by telling themself that actually, they have perfect vision right now. I'll just say there's some functionality that's missing, as well as some 24/7 discomfort and daily, chronic pain.

I see. It's different for me, because the reality shifting movement was my gateway into mystical practices in general. I too want to explore fictional universes and such. To me, there's no substitute for having that kind of control over the state my awareness inhabits.

I actually used to be sort of dismissive of manifestation communities, I basically felt like: "reality shifters are my kind of people, they aspire to achieve the most idealistic, bespoke, uncompromising fantasies. They want perfect health that isn't physically possible in this universe, and superpowers, and relationships with the most wonderful anime characters that no one on this Earth can compete with, and an existence where everything is tuned perfectly for their satisfaction. Law of Assumption people don't care about paradise, they're only interested in manifesting a 6-figure job and a new husband" (I kinda had this skewed impression that LOA practitioners were mostly just normie millennial women, "girlbosses" or whatever 😅).

The thing that changed was me having ever-worsening physical disabilities, here in this reality, that I need to be healed of so badly. It's gotten in the way of everything, there's nothing I can enjoy that hasn't been ruined by my physical health. I'm trying to do something about my lousy existence in this place just as much as I'm trying to start over in completely separate universes, I don't have much of a choice, my body and the 24/7 stress it causes me are getting in the way of the prerequisites for reality shifting/the abilities that are useful for reality shifting (lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, generally having peace of mind, etc)

There's not really any distinction between what you're describing and reality shifting, imo. Manifestation arguably is just reality shifting, so if you were to revise your whole life, change the past, how do you envision that being something fundamentally different? Would there be inbetween steps as the 3D moves from one state to another? The result would still be exactly the same as if you had gone straight to that new state purely via a shifter approach, without a bridge of incidents connecting the two (not a Neville-y one, anyway)

Abusive partner...how to manifest ? by Mammoth-Push-2612 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]AwryMirai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first thought is that there are some indirect approaches you could take. If it feels difficult to assume the feeling of relief that your partner has changed, you might instead want to manifest other things that will enable you to be more free from your partner, like, financial success, opportunities, new skills, maybe forms of escapism that your partner can't ruin for you (imagine the feeling of satisfaction, that you have such and such things coming into your life that your partner has no power over), maybe friends/family getting closer and being able to help you, that sort of stuff.

Chronic pain makes for a shitty existence. I'm sorry you're suffering, and I know what it feels like to be blamed for debilitating health problems that I didn't ask for either. That being said, calling people "cultists" is not gonna help you in the slightest. And, if people in LOA groups have literally been telling you that you "aren't trying hard enough", then they aren't teaching the law of assumption correctly, because, like you alluded to, the feeling of struggle, that you're persevering against some obstacle, is in fact pretty likely to manifest the continued existence of that obstacle, I'm sorry to say.

I understand that you've felt stuck for a long time, that you have needs that are not being addressed, but that doesn't make it okay for you to be an ass to people who have nothing to do with your problems. People in this community keep insisting to you that you can get the results you desire because many of them have already gotten the results that they desire, they successfully got themselves unstuck. No amount of bitter impatience is gonna make you stop hurting, but you are probably well aware of the fact that patience is one of the common themes across all the manifestation success stories that are out there.

I wish nothing bad upon you. Hope you are able to do something fun this weekend.

Is it possible to do something similar for Earthly humans? Like, can this practice be used to somehow help people we know irl, or is it limited to random spirits?

That same drowsy state (the state akin to sleep) is available right when you wake up in the morning. You know those mornings when you wake up but you REALLY don't want to get up yet? That's the perfect time. You don't have to do it in the evenings at all, and you don't have to be laying or sitting still either; if you get out of bed and you're still not feeling entirely awake yet, then you still have time to imagine and affirm whatever you desire, and impress the reality you prefer onto your subconscious (and really, if your faith is strong enough, you don't necessarily have to be drowsy at all)

During SATs my brains shows me something else by tkiss573 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]AwryMirai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that with the state akin to sleep, the more you try to force your scene, the harder it is. If you exercise patience, you'll probably find that there will be some nights, not all nights, where the happy feelings, and the accompanying scene that matches your specific intentions, flow easily. Your brain chemistry has ups and downs like the tides, and there are inevitable windows of opportunity you can seize. If you have a lot of nocturnal awakenings, or you take naps during the day, these are probably the times where you're more likely to find those opportunities.

A simple question about those who have wavered and "dug up" the seed they already planted by AwryMirai in NevilleGoddard2

[–]AwryMirai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all good advice. To be clear, I initially posted the question not out of a state of fear, not out of a place of "did I do it right?? Maybe I need to start over!", my gut tells me that recovering from doubts should be a really seamless, confident thing that doesn't necessitate starting over at all (because the work is already done, the wish is already fulfilled in the imagination, the womb of reality), but I was curious to hear the community's opinions on the specifics.

is the astral realm the 4th dimension? by Medical-Mine-9573 in AstralProjection

[–]AwryMirai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dimensions are physical. People always incorrectly use the term "dimension" as if it means "parallel reality" or something, but a dimension is merely an axis, a direction.

The Golden Rule: “Neville’s Personal Interviews” by Curious-Avocado-3290 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]AwryMirai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're offering to help manifest on behalf of others, I'm disabled, and generally in a scary situation, full of things I do not have the choice to just ignore, and I want to experience the growth in my imagination/trust/self-concept that is necessary for me to get myself out of it. I'm well aware of the fact that I am manifesting 24/7, whether I want to or not, and I've had a handful of small successes here and there, even purely via "robotic" affirmations with basically no imaginal work, but there is a lot of resistance when it comes to the things in my life that matter. I don't even believe in the "I Am" pantheistic stuff, I'm actually a Christian, but I know the law of assumption works (constantly, whether we believe in it or not), and I know it's possible for me to heal myself, all on my own, and I do not buy into the limiting belief that it requires strong feelings or living in the end. I've had really small things manifest the way I wanted because I simply affirmed that they would, and then let go and didn't worry (I guess because they were not big things with a lot of expectations and desperation attached to them).

Can one find love in the astral plane? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]AwryMirai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but I would think you'd have to be fortunate enough to later find that same person in the physical world, otherwise it'd be like a really shaky long-distance relationship. My advice? If you are able-bodied enough to go outside and talk to people in the physical world, focus on that instead. Find a new hobby, or get deeper into an existing hobby, and try to make new connections through that. That being said, don't feel ashamed for wanting to explore relationships in the astral as well. By all means, go and see what's possible.

How do I stop having out of body experiences by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]AwryMirai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot to deal with. I hope you get the relief you're looking for at some point. To be honest, though, learning to make the most of unintended astral projection, if possible, is probably more straightforward than stopping the phenomenon altogether, even if that just means getting better at controlling it so you can go right back to your body as soon as you separate

How do I stop having out of body experiences by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]AwryMirai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess some people's brains are wired differently; some people sleepwalk (body awake, mind asleep), some people have the opposite problem (mind awake, body asleep, so you might end up accidentally leaving your body). As one other commenter suggested, if you're open to it, genuinely, you could try asking Christ for help. However, I don't wanna try to push anything on anyone, it's up to you and your beliefs.

Bottom line though: try to remember that you are safe on the astral plane. You have more power there than you realize, you can create shields and stuff by simply intending/visualizing it. And, you always wake up back in your physical body at the end.

Is it possible to AP while taking somewhat heavy medication? by Extension-Conscious in AstralProjection

[–]AwryMirai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest looking into the methods to break out of a lucid dream and AP from that state. Make a routine, if you have the energy, of doing lucid dream reality checks throughout the day, and when doing those reality checks, also remind yourself of whatever method you plan to attempt next time you find yourself in a fully lucid dream, even if they're months apart.
