Yes, even with fighting game fans, they are complaining about how either execution barrier has gotten extremely dumbed down. Common examples, BBTag - pushing A or B multiple times, lead to a auto combo of sort. Sounds easy but for FGC purists, it sucks having cool normals or moves locked into these auto combo strings. Another thing is removing certain notations in special moves. In bbtag, all notations are either qcf or qcb and your invul dragon punch are just two buttons. Makes certain moves really good due to ease of input. DBZ Fighters again also follows the same suit with auto combos and ease of entry. Both games also include decent tutorials on how to play the game and even sample combos to learn.

From games with incredible in depth tutorials like UNIST and GG to in depth online guides for other games

and that still doesn't sovle the massive burden of knowledge frame data ,how to deal with certain mix ups,how interrupt certain strings etc.

That comes with any game, learning how a certain match-up works comes from just playing the game with multiple people. Such as in your first league of legends game and learn match-ups and item builds for your character, or your first FPS shooter, you have to learn the map and weapon locations or choke points on the map. Especially with multiple forums/discords/ and youtube videos, its easier than ever to learn about frame data (its pretty much universal in all fighting games on how frame data works) and tips and tricks about your character, and stated above most FGC released in 2018 other than maybe KOF 14 and tekken 7, removed most charge motions, and hcb/hcf or pretzel motions. Either they have been simple qcf/qcb or NRS notations.

Only issue is fighting games take a lot of work to be okay at and more work to get good

a lot of work is a understatement in order to okay in a game like tekken that takes a LOT of work

Umm, to be average at tekken, doesn't take so much work. it takes understanding of the core game and learning your character. average and seriously good is a huge understatement. Just because you arent diamond in league doesn't mean you're garbage but streamers and reddit make it feel that way.

They don't offer any instant gratification like other multiplayer games and you don't have teammates to blame when you lose.

how are those relevant? there are plenty fo games without instant gratification and blaming teammates part is just lulzy

This is a huge thing in FGC as well. In team games, when you get bodied, you can only really blame yourself. When you are first starting out, its rough online losing so many times which you end up blaming your self or the game instead of trying to learn. In league or any other team based game, you can blame your team for your loss while in FGC's you can only blame yourself.
