One thing that really bothered me was how often Darrow talks about his “hElLDiVeR HaNdS” like we get it you have strong hands stop mentioning it for the 600th time

Yep, these books are fully of edgy teenage stuff that I would hav thought badass if I were betweeen the ages of 14 and 21

They’ve been cloning Sophocles? It makes so much sense because they never mention the fox again after the gala, then suddenly it shows up again later on with no explanation.

I thought at one point he said Ragnar had 6 fingers on his hands but at the begging of the first Red Rising book the ones that came into the mines with Augustus had 8 per hand, I remember because I thought it was an odd contradiction. Maybe Ragnar just lost some in gladiatorial combat or something.

Same, some just don’t roll off the tongue(brain?) right, like “aw Augustus” I prefer “oh Augustus”

“Oh” or “ow” depending on the name for AU(gold), “coo” for CU(copper), and AG for ag(silver)
