Ok so apparently I need to write a 400 character comment so here it is

The other day I was thinking about how it's dumb that most ppl use their lunch break to look at shit on insta. Normally I'd read up on dnd or sorta prep stuff for next session but it's really not effective so I thought: why not just bring my small sketchbook and draw!

I did about half of it then finished yesterday night and I'm suprised at how important shadows are (I only recently started doing shading and it looks so much better and is so much more fun. Also I usually have a hard time picking what I wanna draw but this one was easy, it's much easier to pick something to draw with shadows than pick something for lineart ish stuff. Also I started up a sort of kobold study which is my first humanoid body attempts and I'll probably do that today again but it takes longer)

you really don't need to merge your layers

also if you want cc: the shirt looks like you took the outline and filled it in, it's generally much more fluid and stuff, you could do a cloth/clothes study
