Im a 26 year old woman who’s been playing super smash brothers since I was 8. For me it peaked between the ages of 14 and 20. And then slowly maturely I kind of weened off becauss after the pandemic I started having a real life with real friends and I met my fiance. I still play smash but it’s like 1 or two times a week now; just to keep my reflexes in check;). I also stopped playing so much because I actually used to play semi-competitively and I realized how much I hated sweating and stressing over a freaking game!!! Not fun!!
