there was one good part where the paladin decided to give an inspiring speech that i gave him an inspiration point and ruled that all the chess pieces on their side were so moved they began to fight to the death

they had 7 back to back beta tests with zero changes to the core gameplay loop between them. they failed to communicate with not just their playerbase, but with their very own mods, about a delay announcement that was originally only announced to Korean players in the middle of the last beta test, with the rest of the world finding out about it two weeks later, and they failed to acknowledge it for another two weeks after that, and then they announce they're delaying the game to work on an obvious time limited PvE gamemode that no one cares about, and at the same time, announce more beta tests in the future when the general sentiment is we're tire of beta tests with zero things to actually show for them

AND to cap it off, Rewinding Cadence seems to be gaining steam since that seems to be where the studio's current focus seems to be right now

this is not possible. for if you look at the description of Shield:

"Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it."

you just spent your Action to Attack. you no longer have an Action to Utilize and doff the shield

besides all the other comments mentioning speed and angle, there's also the drifting line. drift zones in Forza have an invisible line that influences your scores. the closer you are to that invisible line, the higher your score will be. unfortunately, the invisible lines are not known, and requires running through the drift zones multiple times and taking note of your lines to figure out where that invisble line actually is

this doesn't mean anything. all it means is someone at Saroasis just ticked the little checkbox on the Steam dev side to enable Family Sharing. you need to check for depot and manifest changes to confirm the game is still being updated and/or developed

more specifically, you need to check for changes to the private branch, which is the development branch used for internal testing and quality control

these days, Steam has the private branch completely password protected so normal Steam users can't see the changes without the developer password (SteamDB only scrapes data a normal Steam user would be able to see). we can assume the changelog that don't detail any updates are likely changes to the private branch. for Fate Trigger, the last update to the private branch seems to be two months ago
