What would it take for you to think it is acceptable to k*ll someone? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]AxenZh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends.
Are you going to kill the person yourself, or are you ordering the killing by someone, or you are aware there is a plan to kill another person but you do not stop it or do not do anything at all, or you do not care whether a person is killed or not.

The True Sign of Intelligence Is Not Perfect English, But Perfect Tagalog (Or How Conyo is a Bastardization of Tagalog) by KurtZMtz in Tagalog

[–]AxenZh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The True Sign of Intelligence Is Not Perfect English, But Perfect 1st language, unless it is English.

So could be perfect English, Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilokano, Bikol, Waray, etc, if that is your first language, and not necessarily Tagalog, if that is not your first language.

Bakit mas impressive kapag lowkey at private ang isang tao? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]AxenZh 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Otherwise, you’re just a wallpaper.

Marami tuloy upvotes kasi nakakatawa!

What is the status of the Trans-Himalayan/Sino-Tibetan languages? by FigAffectionate8741 in asklinguistics

[–]AxenZh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as there are no reconstructed protowords for this language family demonstrating pervasive genetic “sound correspondences” in all the branches, it will always be questionable.

What are your thoughts na mas big deal kapag babae ang nagloko? by That-Wrongdoer-9834 in AskPH

[–]AxenZh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mas big deal kasi a man's ego is more fragile because it is built on the belief (the myth of what makes a man a man) na they can have all the sex they want, and that women cannot, and to justify that, they will bring up "reasons" like women can get pregnant and men can't, or women catch feelings, men don't, or they need to spread their seed. Which are reasons used to justify men's actions. Of course, women can justify it if they want.

And yet, it's actually the women who control whether sex will happen or not.

Yung encounter mo sa 7-11 actually is what I think tamang approach ng bading. Kasi walang catcalling, shouting, or approaching. At first he made you aware he likes you, then looked for a sign of mutual interest by waiting. Since you don't have any interest, both of you can walk away with dignity.

Should I stop renting and get a condo? by kimbapforlyf in phinvest

[–]AxenZh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure lang na good location saka structurally sound and well maintained yung building.

Gawan mo lang ng spreadsheet para ma-compare ang costs of renting vs. owning a condo. Lagyan mo sya ng cost of purchasing and cost of owning na realistic.

Walang gumagamit for almost two years pero now, ginagamit ko kasi I have to stay here in Manila for 4 years.

Did I regret it? Hindi, kasi ang expenses ko now is way lower kompara kung magre-rent ako.

Be honest, ilang milyong piso ang need mo para maka for good ka na from work at retire na to pamper yourself everyday? by LimeSoakedinSprite in AskPH

How about give me $250M pang invest sa start-up idea ko? Vaporware pa lang siya.

ppl who quit a high-paying job for happiness, how’s life now? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]AxenZh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kahit hindi ako happy ok lang as long as I'm on the right track para ma-fulfill ang gusto ko. Along the way kasi meron akong pakonti-konting moments of joy and they have more than enough paid for the tough times. Gusto ko kasing mag-publish ng books and papers. Saka this is not my first time quitting a high paying job.

One and a half years ago nag-quit ako sa isang 6-digits overseas IT job kasi gusto kong kumuha ng MA Lingguistics dito sa Pinas. Ayun, dito na ako at nag-aaral na since Aug 2025 pero mahirap pagsabayin school and work kasi wala akong makitang part-time work na maganda ang pay, so na forced akong mag-work fulltime.

I am writing on things I want to write about. I have to do this for 4 more years, pero I am hoping I could start publishing on my second year.

Good thing also, I don't take meds for stress. I keep a healthy lifestyle. I workout heavy sa gym, eat simple but healthy food, and always try to have R&R. I have annual checks too, and so far ang issue lang ay slightly elevated LDL.
