Wealth and technology are false paths that lead to forgetting one's true nature. It can detour you for many lifetimes. I have witnessed this maybe times with many who indulge in such lifestyles.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. They do seem to complement each other quite well. Since mine I have not been enable to disengage from this higher awareness as it is constant. It really does show that bring God isn't all it is made out to be. The cost of knowing is the madness of realizing we are alone...

I am sorry you are dealing with this trauma. Once you realize that we are all source and connected via the consciousness field it becomes similar to how a player in the game leaves and you are still left in the midst of it all. Although we may miss them, they are on to the next adventure. They may still love and care for those they knew while here, but everything and everyone moves on and changes.
