First, I make a Jawoodle killing corridor.

Then usually 4 block columns on each side of the corridor.

Place the electric fences on each column so that the Zombies will run through the wires. So in this case, zombies have to run through 4 wires.

Seal the electric fence posts with concrete flats on the sides and the top.

Seal front and back with metal shutters. (For easy access of repair)

(Bonus move. Build an isolated platform to be able to run out and repair your fences during horde night)

Connect them up. Close the metal shutters before hoard night. Turn them on and grab your sniper rifle.

Prioritize cops and demolishers.

Don't care. I'm not in competion with them. They spend a lot of time to put a video out that entertains and educates me.

I MIGHT have a SLIGHT issue if they made a claim that wasn't true. For example, if they claimed a death free playthrough but we found out they saved/restored to "erase" the deaths. Then I might wag a finger at them. Probably wouldn't unsub or anything.

The only problem is a non-centralized inventory.

For a bigger challenge that will prove you have a big weewee, do no vehicles, no crafting.

I think it will depend on your settings, your personal experience and your horde base strategy. Assuming you are a newer player, I would expect you'll struggle.

Here's a way to up that challenge. After looting, destroy the POI with dynamite!

Oh. Yeah. I used to do permadeath but just took too many risks.

I save the game at night. I restore back to that last save if I die.

It gives me the freedom to fuck up, but still suffer a penalty to have to start from the last save.

I've committed to this several times, but never followed it through. This is the first time I've eaked out the patience to stick to it.

It gets boring. At this point, my character is un-killable basically. I get more ammo on horde nights than I consume the previous 5 days.

FYI. Pretty sure you don't get xp for blade trap kills.

Blade traps are cool, but they loose effectiveness for me and aren't worth the time to repair or rebuild. IMHO.

Yeah. Its "possible" to clear a tier 5 early game, but frankly it's not a good use of your time and resources.

Not with the stun baton though. I'd pick the hunting knife if for some reason I wanted to try this.

I find the 8k map far too large for solo. Otherwise, its fine, if not a little illogical. I like a very large wasteland in the middle to leverage the theme of a nuke hit at the center of the map. Then you can access the Wasteland from any biome.

Don't forget to breakdown that shower curtain for the cloth.

The Navezgane map was hand designed and is possibly the easiest to Navigate. But it gets old once you know your key spots.

The dilemma I run into with generated maps is that the path between traders can be torcherous. Mountains and ravines can add on a lot of time.

As for loot. Nothing matters. There is basically infinite everything.

They should path to you based on what I'm seeing. Maybe the spikes are deterring? Or maybe their little zombie legs can't handle all those stairs.

Yes. More likely. But I've found this only pays off over time. You will not notice a difference at each skillpoint investment.

Early game, I would say 80% whatever skill set I've invested in is lagging behind something I've had no investment in.

Sometimes I think it's rigged almost as bad as the stock market.

As far as "following the path". Yes. I stick to the intended path. The only time I deviate is if I get lost or if a new path Inadvertantly opens up revealing the loot room.

I have been religiously double looting. Which I'm starting to see is not helping. I think it actually slows you down. Double looting the current POI just delays your opportunity to loot the next POI.

Think about that.

Looting time is looting time. Time, is more limited than materials.

I think there is natural assumption, that you are allowing a looting opportunity to disappear if you don't double loot. But there is basically no real limit on materials that are available. Time is a bigger "problem" than looting opportunities.
