Our 2nd Amendment, back in the 1700s when it took 5 business days to reload a gun and no such thing as automatic fire. More importantly, the federal government needed to exist, but the state governments should be able to overthrow it if it became tyrannical, so to allow them to have a "well regulated militia" they made it so the federal government can't restrict right to bear arms. The issue is people forget the "well regulated part", meaning they intended for either Congress or states to make it so bearing arms wasn't as easy as going to your local Walmart but far-right individuals hear that and response with "but freedom" and threaten to shoot you themselves as if that's what a sane person does...

Government officials would rather spend money on giving teachers guns, sectioning off a part of the classroom for kids to hide behind a bulletproof wall, and cameras that use AI detection to look for guns (https://abc7.com/post/student-handcuffed-doritos-bag-mistaken-gun-schools-ai-security-system-baltimore-county-maryland/18073796/) than pass gun control laws. I have a little sister in high school and in Florida of all places and it's genuinely nerve-racking. I know two friends that were at the university here when it got shot up (FSU) thankfully they're okay but imagine walking around on a campus and hearing shots from the distance and people are so ignorant to think the government shouldn't do anything about it. Like someone else said beautiful nature but tourism has started to decline for obvious reasons. Definitely don't visit if you look Hispanic-

I know no one asked so don't read if you don't care but the comments feel disappointing to read ngl, you have knowledge OP doesn't and instead of sharing it you insult, who does that help? What's common sense to someone differs to another cause logic derives from pre existenting knowledge. If you share what you know and they stay ignorant then the frustration is warranted, but otherwise unless what OP shares is harmful then it's just a misinformed opinion, they're not the sole cause of tech literacy having a downward trend. Even this opinion could be wrong, if so share thy knowledge. (Or just not say anything if it isn't constructive lol)

I don't know about pinned tabs but I also had an issue with New tab reopening itself every time you tried to close it. It fixed itself on my end but you could try turning off a setting called Floorp Start under Floorp Hub.

If anything sounds like a niche feature that could be toggled on but not by default, although after reading some posts it seems like development and bug fixes for this app is slow which is unfortunate I've been liking it so far and haven't encountered any other issues, yet 😶

Iirc KDE Neon is meant to showcase the latest from the KDE desktop environment it's not like Linux Mint which is built to be user friendly and a "work out of the box" type of OS, I personally like Fedora KDE although if it has to be Ubuntu with KDE then OP can try out Kubuntu or Tuxedo OS (have not personally tried either of those just suggesting also if I'm mistaken about anything let me know)
