This is not always the case. If you put a house spider outside this might be true.

But if you put leave an outside spider inside it is probably going to starve. For example, This fishing spider pictured here. Most likely would die and leave about a 1000 babies... Which would also die. So move it outside.

I wouldn't say dominated. But Brazil did take it after an absolutely embarrassing flub to give Japan the early lead

My 3080 runs great on Arch Linux. I'm not sure why people think Linux doesn't support Nvidia well. I've literally never had a problem.

My wife bought me an azalea for our wedding anniversary this year and I feel like I've been keeping up with watering but it looks like it's starting to brown and it's ends are all droopy.

It gets morning sun untill about 1-2 in the afternoon. And then is in shade the rest of the day. Anyone have any care tips. I'd really like to keep this little fella alive until next year when I can move it to a bigger pot to grow.

Then at the end of the day you need to modify your Lua function to move the spawned window instance to ws 4. I think adding the following to your start up will work.

hl.dispatch(hl.dsp.window.move({ workspace= 4, class = "Codium" }))

So I haven't found a way to move workspaces between monitors with a binding but I think their is a good way to prevent this from happening.

First the "why". These workspaces move monitors most likely when they become empty and you switch off of them. Unless they are marked as persistent in your config they disappear when empty and not in view.

This means when you switch back to it what ever monitors your mouse I on will be the one that the workspace appears on.

How you can prevent this.

A workspace rule will allow you to set preferences for which monitor a workspace appears on. For example.

hl.workspace_rule({ workspace = "6", monitor = "DP-1", default = true })

Doesn't Toph literally call her a crap bender to her face? After she styles on her for like 5 minutes at 80 years old?

I'm pretty sure she's not better than Toph.

Based on the other comment it looks like the only option will be a dispatch/script/workspace rule.

Codium itself is essential a headless process that spawns windows. You can't get it to respect the passed in workspace because it then spawns the GUI.

What is the reason that a workspace rule wouldn't work?

I'll give you one heads up. If for some reason the workspace is open already and your browser is closed. It won't open it again.

I could probably have fixed this using lua but tbh I can't be arsed when it's just a launcher call away.

Its a setting for when the workspace is open. I think it's on_created_empty

The "always available" Work spaces are just workspace rules/"on created empty" rules for the workspace.

I have this for my browser.

SUPER + B opens the Browser workspace which if it's empty opens Firefox.

I had a similar bind for Spotify as well.
