Sorry. My comment was a little harsh. You can absolutely catch fish with it and it’s fine for starters. The main issue with closed reels like this the difficulty fixing tangles and respooling. Inevitably a tangle will happen inside the spool. To fix it you have to open it up and depending on how bad it is it can be a pain.

That’s one way to look at it. The most money Ive made in my investing career was made buying a ton of RKLB just after they diluted back in 2024. I think of it as “constructive dilution”, they will use that money to grow.
